[UPDATE] Updates Galore on Seth's Journal

Soooo...

First we had

Quote:
Moving Forward
I'm back from my meeting with Bronco. I had to promise him that I would send him regular progress reports on the investigation. I'm going to need help to pull this off.

We need to make Bronco feel at ease about this investigation. At this point Bronco is still a suspect on my list, so I don't want him to feel threatened in any way. I'm on his space station and he could easily make this investigation much harder for me. I thought that perhaps you could help me in writing a fake progress report to send to Bronco. The report should contain evidence that supports the theory that Steven is himself responsible for his own disappearance. I can help you with some of the details if you need it. We'll have to make this theory look believable if we want Bronco to believe it. Let me know if you can help.

As for the Anemone puzzle, I just found Steven's copy of Fountains of Paradise. I'm going to start reading through it to see if I figure out where we're supposed to go next with this puzzle.

NOW we have

Quote:
Suspect List
It's been over two weeks since Steven disappeared. When we didn't find Steven here on the station, the only logical explanation seemed to be that Steven was on the elevator. When he wasn't on the elevator, the only logical explanation seemed to be that he had somehow made his way past the people waiting for the elevator at the Ground Station. Now I wonder if I simply had blinders on because I was afraid to face the truth.

I know Steven. He wouldn't let his family stand by for this long wondering what happened to him. He would have found a way to contact them. If he was on the elevator he would have been able to find his way off the Ground Base and to a safe place by now. I guess I was hoping that this puzzle trail and his disappearance were directly connected and that after solving a few puzzles I'd find out where he is. Now I'm not so sure.

I'm forced to look at the inevitable: foul play.

Suspects on my list:

Igor Bronco - history of wrongdoing, strained relationship with Steven, widespread access to station
Martha Crappert - motive unknown, widespread access to station
security personnel - motive unknown, widespread access to station
maintenance personnel - motive unknown, widespread access to station
stevedores - motive unknown, widespread access to station
CARTS - grudge against Orbicon Corporation, lack of access to the station
The Inept - grudge against Orbicon Corporation, lack of access to the station
Path Back to Eden - grudge against Orbicon Corporation, lack of access to the station

If they can't find Steven alive, shouldn't they be able to find his body? maybe he is buried in the garden?

Or is the idea that he was killed and then taken off the station?

Or perhaps Abraxas idea that Seth is Steven in disguise, which would be truly annoying because then he knows all the answers to the puzzles in the trail and is just playing along with us to get the information out.

----
Why single out Martha as a suspect? Aren't there other people we know by name who could be suspected?

What about Seth as a suspect?
