there is a plot... the answers are already known by every one of us... we simly have to wait until the time comes, and we understand our answers/choices


if you're not enjoying yourself don't complain and bring us down, we obviously feel theres more than enough story to keep us here researching.

to me the plot so far is... You have our protaganists Beth and Phil who are friends and have interests in the unexplained and paranormal. Beth works at Metacortex and is also friends with CEO James Avery. Avery disappears and instead of a profile there is a cryptic message and image under his name in the directory. (if we can easily find this, surely Beth did as well).

Beth, with the aid of Phillip and their other buddies in the paranormal decide to find out what Metacortex knows by hacking the site and finding as much info as they can. They end up getting blocked and crashing the server. *when the server goes back online Oct. 1st the game begins for us* They are using the Aquapolis site as a backdoor but still have not been succesful. So, Beth is going to use the direct approach and just go through Marcus Ormonds office when everyone is at the meet and greet tonight. Which brings us to where we are now....

i like the majority of your ideas, Dasein, but...
i think Avery was unplugged.. god knows how (maybe he freed himself like Kid)

... and avery is now possibly w/ caesar's gang... say caesar unplugged him...

phil gets the picture of his missing friend,( keep in mind the picture was hosted at paintover.net, thats how we found that site...) so phillip and beth found that site too....

beth and phil CAN NOT be unplugged yet (why would you work at an office every day if you knew the truth?) and therefore are proly not members of this hacker gang....

so theres 2 lil storylines going.....
but maybe phil and beth were sent the missing photos so they'd find paintover..and then find this trail, and chase the rabit down its hole...

another possibility is that the 'hacker group' is not unplugged and beth IS a member...

i just didn't think there was a plot as of yet
your posts do clarify somethings and show me that there is somewhat of a plot

the longer the game goes on the bigger the plot is going to get i'm sure

so to those that wrote their plot outline i appreciate it and thank you

Just before this one gets locked off, I'd like to thank everyone in this thread on behalf of all of us late-starters. This has cleared up a few things not immediately obvious in the guide, and put events in a bit of a perspective for me.

For the record, this is the first ARG I've been exposed to (having been exposed via a Matrix forum), and coming in over a week late hasn't been easy on the old cerebellum.
