Refer to Tip 6 on the C-X site. You've got a solid start, but i think you need to look into related topics more...

27 This is for the people stuck on 27. I want to keep the thread alive and maybe start sharing hints we've recieved. Maybe something will shake us "out of the box".
I'll post the hints I've recieved unless anyone objects.
* Ok, before I post hints I'll post everything I've tried and thought of.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I finally realised that the states in the order that they are posted are very neat pairs of cities, states. That didn't get me anywhere though and I recieved no confirmation that my pairs were right or even that I should be looking for pairs. I have rearanged the city/county/state combinations till I'm blue in the face. I finally came up with a five letter word that made sense to me...INPUT...Indiana, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Utah and Texas. I have tried color combinations. I tried to combine like color states but that doesn't work. I also tried to match state colors with Mexico (united states of Mexico) and Canada (united Provinces). I've tried to make something of all the names that didn't fit in any of my previous theories. I tried just using the actual connected states..Nevada, Utah, Wyoming and Colorado but I haven't found anything yet. Since the words are all upside down I thought they might all belong to countries south of the border, that didn't pan out. I looked for rivers and trucks too. Finally, almost all of the state names are streets in my neighborhood. That just confused me. I am so stuck

usually when I find something so "neat" I keep following it.
this also could be a good time to review ALL of your clues.
Masque doesn't just add things for the heck of it.

Here's a good clue for when your time rolls over in level 11:
If you're using IE, clear your cookies and your cache when you start on your second clock. The puzzle won't roll over to the 2nd puzzle unless you do.

you really want to work on the current level. solving an old level will be a waste of your time.

I hate this level Ok I finally got to the second part of level 27 and i am more confused than ever. I am not really getting any of the hints over at the C-X forums. At this point I know that "all the clues are relevant" and that I should not make assumptions. I'm not really sure what I could be assuming at this point though since I really don't see any more clues.

Well 27 was the worst riddle ever. I hated it. It was evil.
And now we have 28. This just gets better and better.

Well I made it to 29 and have the obvious egg. Looks like i'm going to need some help from my old friends "frequency analysis" and "pattern recognition". That and a lot of scratch paper. But i'm sure my reward will be another lovely poem to ponder over and confuddle me all the more!
Ok team UF lets put our heads together on this one!!!

Yay! BTW, you may want to pull Koka and the rest in on this as well. They've been working on it a little longer

Frequency Analysis will only tell you that Frequency Analysis won't help you much.
Pattern Recognition will help a bit more, but not much.

I think I get what you mean about frequency analysis not helping. I am seeing patterns enough to know that this is not a simple sub. I feel like the title of the egg page may be misleading unless it pertains to the colored letters. However I can only make sense of a couple of the colors.

The one's I can make sense of are the green letters and the blue (not light blue) letters.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
recursive and xor
I will edit this if necessary, but i'm not even sure if it's a spoiler at this point.
