Zartman is mentionned here: http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/cloudmakers/message/2349, along with all the other Ghaepetto's - but none of the site are live now. So unless we can find archived WHOIS, we've no chance.

person: Doug Zartman
address: 2015 220th Ave SE
address: Sammamish
address: WA 98075
address: US
phone: +1 425 7061922

EDIT:

Have found....

Ghaepetto, Bianca (BG11249) masterSPLATearthdig-t-2000.com 701 555 1234 123 123 1234

EDIT2:

OK, a few observations about the addresses:

1) almost all of them are on some form of body of water (Salina in
the center of the US appears not to..)

2) All of them have airports - Are they cruel enough to give us more
acronyms? Problem is that the large cities have multiple airports...

Right after much fighting with my printer, i have a copy in front of me. Where the 2 lines of the X transect, might be a good place to start, just underneath the 'c' in Wichita!

Just Witchita there. Maybe that's the answer.

I've marked it with a Skull on the map.

Trouble is, I've no idea really what the other ARG was about and what to do with answer!

I dont know what the puzzle was oroginally, but I exported the guest map into google earth, and it shows the X to be on a building on the corner of E 1st St N, and S Rock Island St. Depends on how exact these things export. Any help??

Came up with this thanks to google local.

Quote:
E 1st St N and N Rock Island St, Wichita, KS 67202

Although having searched through lots of different options, can't find a business in that building.
On hunting around the satellite maps, there seem to be a lot of other interesting things out there.

I'm starting to think that maybe we are going to far with this, at least when the Beast was played the writers were monitoring the game as it progressed, so they would have know that there were players in or near Wichita, to check out clues etc. Whereas these cards are premade, so traveling to Wichita to see if there is anything on a phone box etc is way beyond us. So i think that it has to be something more obvious than an inconspicuous red brick building.

Well rant over, droped a line to 42 Entertainment (part of the team behind Beast ARG) hope they'll get back to me with a couple of clues!?!?!?

But the players missed this puzzle altogether when the game was played. So, even if players were in Wichita, the clues would have gone undiscovered.

Too true, but what i meant was the clues and such forth have to be more static, ie found through: current web pages, archived information etc.
They not gonna expect us to answer payphones, or deciper info from posters on windows in the back of beyond USA.

So maybe we need to explore other avenues as well, just a peek! I still think were on a winner with the Ghaepetto names, just don't know if we be looking at it the right way!

Hm? what? wichita? what's this? I know that exact location very well. what are we looking fFor? the intersecryion of fFirst and Rock Island is the backside of the old Cowboy bar, and uhm .. across the street (as you can probably see fFrom aerials) is a parking lots .. and then across the street to the north is like warehouses and stuff. See, that's right at the north edge of the Old Town Historical district. Mainly it's well known fFor having lots of bars and stuff. Incidentally, when i fFirst saw there was an old town in perplex city, I immediately thought of Old Town in Wichita, which, as fFar as I can tell, has many of the same properties. So, anyway, across 1st street is warehouses and such, which used to house things like welding shops, but are now rented by people wanting indoor skate parks n stuff. An actual view fFrom above wouldn't yield too much (as you've noticed), but even standing at the intersection of 1st and rock island wouldn't even yeild much. There simply isnt much right there, except a nice fFree parking lot close to the bars. I add, if you go a block or two in any direction you can reach as many as 20 bars, 3 skate parks, a variable number of hotels, some fFairly historic train tracks, the still extant old train station (which has been turned into a very nice club), the new megalithic train station (which has been turned into a so-so multimedia headquarters) ... uhm, go a little fFarther and you can get to anything in downtown wichita on fFoot ...

Actually the whole view fFrom above thing makes me think of the Century 2 convention center, which is this massive thing which loks like a giant fFlying saucer. a huge spectacle. supposedly the architect, upon completion of the mind boggling structure, went insane and shot himself. at any rate, and reasonable aerial photo of wichita will show. it's about a mile and a little bit to the west of 1st and rock island.
