This will certainly be my last communication until you solve the riddle of panicht's doors .
I apologize for the lack of help I've been, but I only hold influence in the Realm of Oboenai.
Once you reach me there, I will explain.

This was the e-mail labfly got, notice the bolded word.
This is the clue in the source:
Quote:
If you wish to pass beyond this door , make Three and Three the cube of 4
Notice the bolded words there. My question is, which door are we even trying to get through with the clue? Just wanted to give everyone something else to think about, cant have anyone getting unconfused.

Good point, but as this is becomming more and more metaphicical, my guess is just solving the puzzle is opening a door and probably leads to the next. What to do with this solution...
Write it on a piece of paper and burn it along with some insence?
Making 3 and 3 the cube of 4:
3 and 3 would logically point to 3 cubed.
37 +3 cubed=64 maybe to easy but 37 rings a bell... add37... or...
...anyone?

i think oboenai may just be referring to the image
of the doors on the panicht page.. my guess is
there is only one solution we are seeking (for now)

I understand that, it was part jest, but also part revelation that the door names MUST have meaning in the process. We must figure out how one of the door names fits in.

I'm with Puppy on this one. Except the thing is driving me is why "Three" is written out but "4" is a number?
I'm going to recheck the other source pages to see if this has occured before.

My only guess would be due to wordplay, which was one of the reasons I thought my theory was correct. If given 3, you cant assume that it should be written out and modified within the context of the writing. If that were the case, you could virtually turn anything into something else and be correct simply b/c it "makes sense" when you hear it. My personal opinion is that they were trying to seperate the thought process used of each thing (meaning word or number). "Three" doesnt automatically mean 3, but 3 does mean 3. That is human nature and the bounds of logic.

And there you are wrong.... wel.. not completely but even the title reads the 'word' qu13e, and 3 may be seen as part of the b. In 733t-speak the 3 can be seen as an e. Maybe because 'he' is using this kind of dictations the word three was used instead of the digit 3.
But in general you are right. There 'must' be something to this mixed use of words and numbers, letters and digits. I feel this could lead somewhere but it's like those easy puzzles. Ones you see the solution you can't help but wonder how you missed it.
37 could be el in this light.... but then where does that get us?
or
If 13 is b then 37 would be Y (count onwards)
This coud refer to the other 'question/statement'-like names--> Why
(problem with this solution is; it is enginered by coincidense. I mean how the hell did he come up with this puzzle if this would be the answer as it is the only way it works. No variable solution by altering something. If this is making no sense... try making a letter puzzle by using cubed numbers and make the solution be... uhm.. IC. meaning I see, I understand. Cubes are 1 8 27 64 125 216 etc. Very little room to work with you see?)
(Unless ofcourse you fit the solution to fit your 'problem' then any solution will do. )

Again....stretching here....I could use the exercise anyway
The door says Lost and Found but switches to Out of Order on mouseover.
Out of order got me to thinking anagramatically (wd?)
Three and Three anagrams to Threatened Her .
Cube of 4
Qu b e fore
Qu 13 e fore
Qu13e Threatened Her?

The file names aren't tick.jpg and tock.jpg anymore. Now they're OutOfOrder.jpg and LostAndFound.jpg.

I went back through the beginning of the trailhead today, cross-referencing terms, clues, and found a couple of things that could have been related, but some of that was also from the previous stuff dealing with this same thing. Not being given ANY direction, its hard to say as if any of it means anything, but none of the things I found worked anyway. I think I'm done with this puzzle until someone gives some direction. I wont comment on anything other than that at this point.

Ack! Looks like a lot has happened and I missed it all. Well good luck to glecius anyway.
After revisiting all source pages, here's what I got.
Until panicht.html, all source codes read:
Quote:
<!-- QU13E (c) 2005. All rights reserved. -->
But panicht.html reads:
Quote:
<!-- QU13E (c) 2005. All Rights Reserved. -->
Also, in every other page the .jpgs names are lowercase - except for panicht.html.
Help!
