[SOLVED] #022 Cold Fission

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

This is one of Violet's
favourite poems.
It's been hanging
around her room as
long as I can
remember...

What is the name of
the poet?

Signed by Sente

Go here for a picture. (I was trying to link to the Card Catalogue image, but I can't work out the url, the one suggested on the page doesn't work, if anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong then feel free to let me know)

With a bit of googling, the confirmed answer is

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Robert Frost

The bold characters

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
are revealed more clearly (it's pretty darn impossible not to notice them first off) under heat where the rest of the text (green in the picture, normal on the card) disappears. It spells out 'The password is YIISTIA'. So where's the password for?

It seems very bizarre that a card should have two completely unrelated solves. Either the revealed password should be the solve and the puzzle has nothing to do with the poem or it's to do with something else and not a solve for the card. Absolutely bizarre.

If so its only without the space, I tried it with and didn't get the points

A password for Violet's website perhaps?

What's the title (Cold Fission) in reference to? Cold = Frost?

Haha yeah, good point.

Double meaning though with the heat sensitivity as well! Smile

What's the password for?

Just an idea. but could the password be for this website....
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
www.cognivia.com which is a website covered by another puzzle. At the bottom of the website there's a 'secure login' option. Just an idea

I'm afraid that we are not able to log into Cognivia (at least, not at the moment) - as evidenced by the tagline above the login box "This login has been disabled for your location."

I tryed it in the perplex city academy libary and it came up with nothing. Maybe talking to Violet/Scarlett will reveal more. Has anyone got Violets e-mail address my brother helpfully downloaded a virus and even though we got rid of it it also got rid of all my address!

In responce to logining in:

Thats a great idea now we just need to convince a character to give us their username and Key number! Suggestions anyone? Plus we need to wait for it to become available.
