Definitely the same little girl, though -- think she has anything to do with the text excerpts we got about yokai early on?

Possibly...let me find those and read through them again. I'm kind of messed up on wisdom teeth removal medicine, though, so I can't guarantee an accurate re-read. Razz

From Wikpedia's explanation of kitsune, the fox-type of the yokai (bold emphasis mine):

Quote:
In Japanese folklore, these animals are believed to possess great intelligence, long life, and magical powers. Foremost among these is the ability to take the shape of a human; a fox is said to learn to do this when it attains a certain age (usually a hundred years, though some tales say fifty). Kitsune usually appear in the shape of a beautiful woman, a pretty young girl, or an old man.

Other powers commonly attributed to the kitsune include possession, the ability to breathe or otherwise create fire, the power to manifest in dreams, and the ability to create illusions so elaborate as to be almost indistinguishable from reality. ... Occasionally kitsune are ascribed a characteristic reminiscent of vampires — these kitsune feed on the life or spirit of the humans they come into contact with.

Someone's a little flirty.

And I love how his ears are gauged to about 000s.

Wow. Interesting Movie.

So Parrish is a Firekeeper / double agent? I've always been of the opinion that Parrish is a bad guy. If I was wrong, I apologize. However, since I'm not too quick to throw out my gut instincts, here are the two possibilities I see:

A) Parrish is telling the truth. He is a Firekeeper double agent. However, since Vapor monitors Anne's journal, Vapor now knows of his disloyalty.

B) Parrish knew that Anne had misgivings about the company. He decided to tell her that he was a Firekeeper working against VaporLofts to further gain her (and our?) trust.

Alright, so option B sounds a little far-fetched. But remember that the hidden text in samurai.jpg said DO NOT TRUST PARIS. I'm not saying we should dismiss him, I'm just saying we should keep an open mind and not be too quick to believe him when he says he's a Firekeeper.
