Sorry, I didn't realize. I thought since that was the way the "first" password was found it was expected.

Not that I've really been following this game, but I do have to make a comment on this.

I have never heard of zooming in on a flash to ever be considered "cheating". There have been various schools of thought on whether decompling is considered a cheat. However, after having played several games (Daemonworks & Orbital Colony to name 2) where information could only have been found through looking at the .swf in a decomplier, I personally no longer believe this to be the case.

If a PM needs/wants to hide information, then they should use a more secure method of hiding it. I can understand people still being reluctant to take information straight from a decompile if they can help it (which is why I still will always spoiler decompile info), but saying that zooming in on a flash is now considered cheating is a little too extreme, IMHO.

That's what I thought, Rowan. Especially since Magestaff posted this early on...

Zoom in until you can see the non binary message. ZOOM IN on the shockway until you can see it. Enter that the login and you should be in. Took me a while to figure it out to, and that was WITH the clue from from Daveman424. Thanks Dave

It obviously was meant to be found by zooming in and clicking play. I'm confused.

I see both sides to this. I do think it was left intentionally so that we would be able to access it if we didnt find the hidden key within that book review. I also agree that the note stated we shouldnt use the method, instead work together. I think the only reason the term "cheating" came up was b/c that was how it was described by the PM themselves, but if it was TRULY cheating, they wouldnt have left it for us. Any way you look at the situation, it is nothing more than beating a dead horse at this point. Everyones points were noted, received, and should be left at that for us to move on.

I'm continuing the search for information about Araya. One of the interesting things I found was this site: http://www.waldhor.com/arayaen.html

Most likely unrelated but interesting none the less.

I continue the search.

Nice find, Kelis!

Surely something we have to keep in mind, if the PM puts a puzzle in front of us where we may need some translation.
Although the site said it did support Chinese and Arabic, it didn't mention Turkish or Sanskrit Smile

There is a big difference between Zooming in on a flash and seeing a password hidden in text, and skipping through parts of the game to complete it.

In other games, Rowan mentioned Orbinal Colony and Daemon as two, I can see this as acceptible. But in this one, I disagree. In theory, if the PM had the whole game prepared as of now, using the methods used by 'Mountain Girl' and others, the whole game could be completed right now.

Although I do agree that the PM should find a more secure way to hide said information, until that time, I suggest we stop doing this.

So again, zooming in on flash=OK, using the Forward and Play functions to skip entire parts=IMHO, Cheating.

Hey! Good going Mountain Girl! 'N' and 'W' certainly make more sense here than 'A' and 'J'...you're probably on to something!

odd flash thing

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, or if it means anything, but has anyone noticed thatin the first animation, most of the 1's are upside down and then in the one where we got the password, NONE of them are upside down?

Could this be something?

Good find, MountainGirl!

Is there any relation between East Dulwich Station and the Hillington/Harrow areas on the map in the background, or, alternatively, with the coloured map in the background? See e.g the map on this link:http://www.property-go.co.uk/area_guides/southwark/east_dulwich.asp

Any Londoners, please help
