I'm guessing it is just coincidence as I doubt anyone as well known as Terry Pratchett would be involved with Mind Candy to the point of changing books to match...

Still it's a nice idea.

(I'm officially awaiting THUD in softback before I go get it... I may not last that long though... Smile

)

I'm waiting for the paperback version too, though I do have the game, and it's much more difficult that first it seems at first glance. I think it is just as cerebral as chess.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who waits for the paperbacks! My PTerry-reading friends keep trying to make me borrow their hardback copies.

(I suspect Leeravitz...he's always been the most verbose) Are any of the rest of you famous too? Imagine if the Earth cube retrievel team consisted of popular novelists...Maeve Binchey, Dick King Smith...

actually I forgot the collaborative story...none of us have any ability in this field at all.
