LOL, Omnie, I wouldn't be a phone person either with the kind of reception you were getting. Glad I could help in my own small way though

So, that phone number is wrong/irrelevent? Good thing we found out or else somebody in New Jersey would be very confused.

Falafel, I think he means mine - the 602 number. But maybe not? Who knows if he's watching the forums, as that's the only way he'd know - otherwise he'd be telling Omnie herself that the number was wrong.
Anyway, I'm done with this for tonight... thanks all for the help

He specifies that we should disregard the hexadecimal string, so I think he probably does mean mine, but it is weird that he wrote to G3K about it. Why would he assume, in-game, that we're working together and pooling info?

He sent another message to clarify that the "disregard this number" message was meant for someone else. Hmph.

He probably has been watching or is familiar with the forums, and chose someone he would know would bring it to the forums and work together on it.

My late e-mail garnered the following response:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Paul-
Glad to see so many are interested.
The matter is less urgent than previously believed, so time may be taken.
However, the matter remains serious and must be handled delicately.
You never know who might be looking through the window.
Take care,
Michael A.

Well, has anyone actually mentioned to him you're working with other people?
If not, he may be watching the forums.

Got an IM from MikeAdams1973 with some binary, which decoded to vignere, which decoded to base64, which decoded to rot, which when rot-19'd equals:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
They see all. Hear all. Know all. Time is of the essence. Geography. Geometry. Use these gifts
After this, our boy went:
MikeAdams1973 (9:17:27 PM): Ohh dear..
MikeAdams1973 (9:17:32 PM): Be right back.
with an away message that read (paraphrased, as he's offline now:)
"brb, someone's trying to get into my house"
The plot thickens.
