The smell in the garden has become practically unbearable. We had to move the New Year's Eve celebration to the Bubble Bop. It was a bit cramped, but we set up some tables right outside to handle the overflow of people. I hope Martha figures out what the problem is soon otherwise I'm afraid we might have to have a partial evacuation of the station. We definitely can't accept any tourists until after the problem is resolved.

Most everyone on the station was at the party, even Cordelia and Stevie. Cordelia said that Seth was back at their place working on something to do with the investigation. He told her he would stop by before midnight if he made progress, but he never showed. I was really hoping he would be there. After the ball dropped (we had a live feed from Times Square) and the crowd began to clear, I went back to my apartment and fell asleep on the couch. I was hoping that maybe Seth would drop by so I didn't want to go to bed just yet. I woke up a few hours later from a dream�

I dreamt I was at the medical labs with Cordelia and I was dressed in a white lab coat. I was trying to stop Cordelia from giving Arther Rasmussen any drugs. I tried to tell her that the drugs were hurting him, but I couldn't talk. She couldn't understand what I was trying to say so I grabbed all of the medicines and threw them on the floor. When I was finished, I looked up and I wasn't in the lab anymore. I was in the garden and it was decorated for the New Year's Eve party. All of the trees were glowing with lights and there was a ball with lights hovering above me. I heard someone coming down the path so I turned around and it was Seth! He told me it was almost midnight and grabbed my hand. We watched the ball drop down into the garden and at midnight he held me close and kissed me!

It was nice to have a dream with a happy ending. I haven't had many of those lately.
