I got toa login screen easily enough. Im sure y'all have seen it too.

I dunno Phaedra... any women here wanna try emailing them?

Apparently their ability to 'hear' the truth in my pledge isnt very strong considering not only did I use a fake name, but Im not even a woman! I'm not registering though.. not yet.

I feel slightly guilty if they are real, what with all you fake women registering. Razz

The woman to whom the site is registered appears to be real.

However, I agree that all the Flash seems like too much to be real, somehow. As does the method of "advancing," on the FAQ, with tasks to perform.

On the other hand, the idea that you must spend two months at each level doesn't sound particularly ARG-ish, or at least, it would have to be a really long ARG if the point is for players to join. Shocked

Hrm, yeah, did a WHOIS and some googling.

The site's been registered since 2000, and there are a bunch of blogs of women who are members, some of which have been around for quite a while.

False alarm, I think. Sorry. Embarassed

i stumbled upon this some time ago... thought it was very... well, nevermind what i thought. However, i would hope that those of us who signed up who are NOT female would be respectful enough to say "okay, we know now it is not an arg, i will back off"...

It's legit. I stumbled upon it a looong time ago, and signed up for their mailing list just becuase it looked weird enough to merit a giggle.

All they really do is send you stuff about what phase the moon is in and "bid you well tidings of hope and love," and things of the sort.
