I think we don't trust Miranda purely because we are a paranoid people. If there hadn't have been a mole in our midst back in october, we would probably be much more (ok, a tiny bit more) trusting. Heck, most of us don't trust Sente, especially since we now KNOW he is connected to Viendenbourg, and there are a fair few of us who have our suspicions about Violet.

Well Sente i never ever trusted. You don't trust the "obvious" good guy. Ever. There was always the chance he's using us to frame someone or just pick up the cube for him because he cant. Not that he is bad, but movies and basic detective work would put him as a suspect from the start.

Violet.. well less suspicious. But possibly, again because of her being an "obvious" good guy. Although i see Violet as genuine.

Scarlett is smarter than people give her credit for. But shes a good girl, surely.

But as for Miranda, nothing has actually been said to hint at her being bad. She actually seems quite sweet. I see her simply as a distraction for Kurt and something to stir the relationship between him and Violet. I dont think he'll stay with Miranda.

Violet has several reasons not to trust her:

1)She had that mysterious vanishing post.
2)She has designed but two puzzle cards. One of them just happened to be amongst the 5 leaked cards received in the bag of the third power mole.
3)She was absent from the ball the night the cube was stolen, meaning she had no alibi.
4)Her first name starts with V, and as such we are compelled not to trust her!

Well i knew of 1, 3 and 4.. But i didnt realise about the puzzle card. Could be intentional on the PM's part to lead us to think that way though.

The descriptions we have of V dont match Violet. I.e some dangerous physco person. Then maybe shes just good at hiding it. But i dont think she is V.

Two cards?
She's not even on the team!

For all her help, we need to remember she's not officially with the CRT.
If anything, the fact she made even one card is curious, let alone two.

I wish the Card Cataloge cataloged who created what cards. Brian, is that a possibility?

If it helps, Violet's cards are the poker related ones, The Red Ace and Pocket Rockets.

2ndly, did i miss something. What on earth did Miranda do to suggest she was anything more than Kurts inspiration and something to sidetrack him when hes not involved? I dont see anything "bad" about her, not yet at least.

The lack of trust in Miranda appears to stem from her sudden appearence just when we were trying to get access to Granier's diaries In Violet's blog, see also discussion here

Violet isn't the only non-CRT member to scribe a card - Sente has done a fair few (eight), there are a number from members of the Mind Candy team and numerous "Guests" - given that Violet has contributed two cards thus far, and both are on her very own specialist subject, I see no reason for distrust here.

Scott - hope this helps

For the stat fans out there, here are the running totals for who is earning their keep on the CRT so far Wink

Kurt - 23
Anna - 17
Tippy - 10
Von - 9
Aiko - 9
Garnet - 7
Caine - 5

That said, I'm not advocating that anyone gets the boot yet, we've only seen 50% of the cards so far...Garnet for example would have had only two cards to his name had we counted them up after wave 1.

2) regarding viards album, this is from the hesh records site :

Surely that means the message was meant for helix? If the message is in the music and that explains it all. Feel free to trout me if its been said before but I don't remember reading it.

Maybe. But that assumes the message was part of the album when Hesh first received it, and we really don't know that much.
Could be that it was added at some point later. IMHO, it wasn't Viard or Hesh who added it. Possibly someone else in the music industry.
Possibly even someone at Mind Candy...

But I bet we could get some more answers if Tippy did a bit of probing... Wink

I think there is more to that CD than we've already got. We've found our main 'hidden' message but I think there is more to be explored on that CD. What? I don't know, waiting till I get a new comp, next few weeks, to get pro tools out on it. But until then, I still feel certain there is more to be discovered

We were asked to find out about the message, by emailing Hesh. So far, everyone has got his auto-reply.

I'm betting the way to find out isnt by emailing Hesh, at least not directly about the subject.

But as Kurt says, noone in perplex city is supposed to have heard the CD. So it is us who have to extract the info.. just how to ask him is the question.
