{Email} Seth 1/12 Data card stolen

Quote:
Things are spinning out of control.

The data card that we found inside Raidar's compartment is missing. I had it in the locked desk drawer in Steven's office. I cannot explain how it has disappeared. I was gone for an hour (at most) while I went to the Bubble Bop to eat dinner. There are no marks on the lock to indicate that someone broke in the drawer. I believe that data card had the final pieces of information we needed to find the remaining caches. If I hadn't stalled and had just emailed the info out to you this wouldn't be such a horrible blow. I didn't know how deeply the investigation had been compromised, so I didn't even make a copy of the datacard. I figured that leaving the information on my computer would be asking for someone to hack into it and find it. And I thought if I emailed it or posted it on my blog, I'd be handing the information over to whoever has been interfering with the investigation. I fear that may have happened regardless of my precautions.

Also, I spoke with security today and they assured me that the accuracy of their arrival and departure logs was 100%. Of course, I couldn't point out the possible error on the November 6th arrival log, but I know that there is no such thing as 100% accuracy. I did manage to get a look at the departure logs from around that time. I saw no departure logs listing Davina. Maybe I'm making too much out of a clerical error. I just can't shake the feeling that this means something. Perhaps someone in security put in Davina's name to cover for someone else arriving on the station? But why would they pick Davina?

Seth

Thank God for Stevie, ladies and gentlemen.

Once we recevie the ribbons, I say we inform Seth of what STevie did and that the info is safe. That way there is no chance of the mail being intercepted IF thigns are as compromised on the station as they sound.
