Sent an email to prizes.problemsSPLATclaymath.org

I asked if there were any clues for them to give us.

No, sorry, I don't know anything about this one. I've heard of the
game, and I've seen the card, but I have no clues to give and I don't
know what they want you to do with it.

So there's another alleyway of thought closed off. The problem is that there aren't as many being opened.

Oh, come now, that's just being silly. A respectable OOG institution wouldn't suddenly go ARGonauting! The prizes have been around for years; knew of them before I even found PXC.

Of course, it would be lovely to have a lead, but alas, no such thing can come from Clay. Crying or Very sad

Well, the Riemann Hypothesis operates on the Riemann zeta function, so maybe something can be done by plugging in some "mystery number" into the function itself. Say, 238 or 7235733?

We did it accidentally with 8 once, maybe we should do it intentionally with some other number now.

Just putting it out there; something to consider is all.

I think that the website has something to do with it, otherwise they wouldn't give all the information, which is on the site anyway. Also if the website wasn't relevant then they could have just given us the info.

This thread is so long now that I may be confusing myself, but didnt we establish that the website address on the card was incorrect? I remember putting it in and getting a redirect...

Its that address, I'm sure. The question must be something to do with that.

Anybody else get the feeling they are just pulling at invisible straws now on these unsolved silvers?

If the web address was incorrect, why didn't they correct that when they corrected the initials?

If they didn't correct it then it may well be relevant!

no da

The address that was wrong is not the one on the card. http://www.claymath.org/millennium/Riemann_Hypothesis

It was the address given by the Von's Clues SMS text service.

Ah yes it's all flooding back now....I hate this card!
I think really there is a fine line between a puzzle that challenges you and a puzzle that is so obscure you don't even know what it is, that just makes it frustrating and not enjoyable as a game.

Rant over lol
