It's probably worth playing the Da Vinci Code game/trail on Dan Browns site just so that you know that the La Profezia puzzle and some other things mentioned on this thread are nothing to do with the upcoming movie or seekthecodes.com. Nor is it an ARG...

Most people knew that already but it seemed like a few people were getitng confused.

seek the dials refers to the different words in the cryptex depending on the quality of trailer that you view...
Check them out the one on the main page says Grail...
the rest are different

This is true. The one on the main page says Grail.
Hi Res = Blade
Med Res = Cross
Low Res = Lisa S

Interesting, the words LisaS, Cross and Blade together can anagram into:
Bodiless Rascals.

Hey, I'm new here, and I just went to the website and saw it was updated. And, yet again, there are more capitals. They spell out 'Did You Seek The Dials', so presumably we're still able to find the dials.

I'm troubled by the CROSS dials. If you look at every other dial, the letters are alphabetical. But not the R in CROSS. Maybe CROSS should be CIOSS?

In addition to LISAS, CROSS, and BLADE there is the word GRAIL. It's on the cryptex before you pick a resolution at which to view the trailer. Doesn't exactly provide any more info, but important nonetheless.

Has anyone dialed Bezu yet? I haven't seen much else aside from the obvious clues already posted...

This has been mentioned twice. But you're right, it is probably important.

Seeing as each each word has to have 5 letters, I assumed that if you arranged them into a grid it might spell something when read vertically... Like this:

G R A I L
B L A D E
C R O S S
L I S A S

But... i didn't get anything. Maybe if there was a 5th word and a proper grid then it might say something. I dunno. I'll keep looking

As I am just starting out in this, I went through all the clues from the very beginning and wound up stuck at that same point...

"Find Robert Langdon" is on the Mona Lisa's shoulder, emailing him results in a hint to the stolen parchment La Profezia, leading to 'relic bay' and the Depository of Zurich safe deposit box, Bezu Fache leaves a message with a phone number.... has anyone called it yet?

Or is this a separate trail? If so, it is quite confusing to have one forum discussing both possibilites.

You went of course when you e-mailed Robert Langdon. This is part of a different trail. It is a game on Dan Browns site and is nothing to do with the upcoming movie or seekthecodes.com

But yeah, pretty confusing. Although there are two seperate threads for the two seperate trails, I can see how they are easily confused.

I'd say it's worth playing it so you wont confuse one with the other. It doesn't take long. Start Here.

In reference to this, the second dial of the cryptex pictured in the medium resolution trailer, the one containing the letter "R" jumps from "H" to "R". The letters from "I" to "Q" are missing. None of the other ones share missing letters. I am sure it means something, but what????

DaVinci movie is fiction, pass it on!

Quote:
Catholic group Opus Dei has called for the film version of The Da Vinci Code novel to be given an adult rating.

The organisation says children should be protected from what it calls "insidious" lies about Catholicism.

Spokesman Marc Carroggio said: "Any adult can distinguish reality from fiction. But you cannot expect a child to make proper judgements."
