You might be right...it was the 3 that said "Hello PXC" to me, but you've got a 2 (not very cubey, the Receda Square sounds silly)...and the composer stuff, but that's kinda tangential...will add a link to here. And then maybe we can be moved?

I still say the person who wrote these was drunk. Wink

It doesn't appear to be of any 'rot' persuasion-as already noted. It's possible it's not a bit of cryptography at all. As both of these are of the same length it's possible there will be numerous emails and they will have to be read vertically once we have plenty of them. It would explain the capital letter but not the numerous '-'s.

Definitely agree. If you line these two up vertically, then the capital Y in the "3" e-mail comes after one of the full stops in "2". Also all of the pairs could form words. But the two messages seem different lengths, with Oliver's two characters longer:

OK...I thought this was Perplexcity at first cos of the subject "3" (a sensitive number)...maybe the thread could be moved from there? Ollie got the next in the series.

Bah, possibly. They could have just used " "s, or not bothered at all and got much the same outcome.

That's what I would have done....which might explain why I don't use codes like this much, or it may not.

Ah yes, I put ollie's errant '.' on the other message on my pad of paper. It still may work if those two letters (ending with a '.') are with end of the message.

Hey ho, I'm sure we'll find out.

Excellent spot. Looks like there's only "1", "2" and "3" then. Here's my guess (not sure about the help)

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

The-police-did-not-solve-my-code.You-are-my-only-hope-o?n?.

Think there may be some typos and the last word is now.

Well done guys (particuarly BBuck-my guesses at filling the holes (merph) were rubbish), I'd be suprised if that was wrong.

I would email the person backing letting them know we've solved it.

I replied saying "How can I help you?" yeah, I know. I got this response:

I got my 3. letter from The Composer last night at 7:02pm. I replied saying "Sure I would be glad to help you launch your game...er...um...help you." I am pretty excited here, this is my first launch interaction!
