"Therefore, all of the standard ideas about "puzzles", "solving", "out-of-game", etc do not apply"

Your logic is fuzzy, I say -it- doesn't apply.

Do me a favor, go to dictionary.com and look up lie.

I really hope this doesn't come across as egotistical or offensive or anything, it's an honest serious question... so we're all just what, emulating our own imagination? I disagree, and this is where personal opinion becomes off topic in relation to Neurocam. I'm skipping out on this one. Smile

I scrolled up to the Search link, then typed in neurocam as a search term, then changed it to search only in topics, and i found this:

[ARG? Experiment?] NeuroCam

Amazingly enough, that thread is listed on the same page of topics where you posted a new thread.

Well, Neurocam is definitely still going strong, because right now I'm in the application process, so I guess I'll see how it goes.

Neurocam Question

Hi,
I'm a new agent to Neurocam and I want to find a summary of the game so far, on their boards there seems to be a lot going on and I want to get up to speed. Is there a place on this forum for Neurocam discussions? or better yet can someone point me to a summary? Thanks

For those of you New or Old to Neurocam I was scratching around and found this

www.fiatnox.com

it has an email link to Mr Iocus Severus, a notorius member of Neurocams secret Service known as FiatNOX anyone heard of it?

There is loads of information on graham henstocks blog about FiatNOX and Iocus Severus, seems like he is into magick and weird stuff like Henley used to be

I'd just like to warn people about this Fiat Nox thing. If you plan of getting involved with Neurocam, it's probably best to avoid them as much as possible. The best way to get involved with Neurocam is to submit an application. It's not hard and they don't ask anything very personal at all.
As for what Neurocam is... One can't really be told all that much about Neurocam, I think. But as soon as you join you sort of get a lot of information. Basically all I can say is that from I've seen, it looks extremely cool. Neurocam is more like what I was looking for when I stumbled across the world of ARGs than any ARG I've even seen. You know how Perplex City promised an experience like the one Micheal Douglass' character had in "The Game"? That's what I wanted. Neurocam doesn't seem AS crazy as that movie, but it does seem like a lot of fun. And I guess I should give a little discalimer here that my experience with Neurocam so far has been admittedly very superficial and I have a lot more digging to do, but that's my two sense anywho. Later, ARGers.

That site is most likely a fraud. The webmasters are disgruntled former operatives who got canned. Feel free to play around with it, but I wouldn't take it as actually related to Neurocam.

is neurocam still going? I have just stumbled across it but noticed that there is not a lot of discussion about it recently.
