I went to Bristol today and found...NOTHING. I searched everywhere.
The last line of the clue says to find a seat so i was mostly searching around benches, and there are loads of them.

I checked the area around the entrance to the bridge, the path up to the observatory, the park around the observatory, the lookout point and even found a path down the cliff to the bottom.

There were two areas that looked likely.
At the highest point on the path to the observatory is a telescope (gaze before and also behind?). Behind this is a bench and some bushes. I searched thoroughly but didn't find anything.
Also there is a very steep path from the foot of the bridge to the bridge road (follow wearing pathward up). This only has three benches which i checked.

I also found a tour guide there and showed him the clue. He told me that whoever wrote it was sending me on a wild goose chase.

I am prepared to go and look again but not untill we have more to go on or somebody has some bright ideas.

The only thing I could think of would be some geographical anomoly referred to as a "seat", like a shelf in the rock of the gorge or the knoll on which the observatory stands (maybe a seat for a giant). But that's pretty non-specific and we know you guys have covered that whole area.

At least according to MarkZpot's ribbon, we now know the Melbourne location is definitely the bells

It is good to get a confirmation that we were looking in the right area, but with the area being large and the clue 'for the secret you must via' (paraphased) a little more detail like the two US sites would be nice.

Going back on weekend to look again.

I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get any more specific clues than that, as we already more or less knew the Bells and Bridge locations were the right ones... people have been to both, but apparently lacked specific information to really find anything. The ribbons are no more than confirmation of what we already suspected to be right Neutral

Ok, foot, mouth, etc.

Sorry for that, the ribbons, or at least two of them, gave us exactly what we needed in terms of specific hints... duh! Embarassed

Good luck to the Melbourne and Bristol (and Chicago, apparently?) crew!

Has anyone looked in the cemetery that was mentioned in Puck90's post?

Well, the pictures that have been uncovered on the SAIPets subdomain point us at one of the benches along the path near the bridge that both Tom and Tallerbird have already visited.

Tom has said he'll return tomorrow and do an even more thorough search of the bench and its surroundings...

The Melbourne package has been found! But I posted the info in the wrong area of this forum, its in 'Orbital Colony: In-Game Interactions' and should be in here, if a MOD can move it it would be nice.
