relations

Ive foudn something that relates to Lennon ( possibly mlo's middles name ) the beatles, when Im sixty four, and the 22nd of April !!

To quote : http://www.andibradley.com/whatya/six.htm

On 22 April John Lennon changed his middle name from Winston to Ono by deed poll.

I'm thinking we are getting very very close.

Don't know if this'll lead us anywhere, but here goes:

In Beth's letter to Phillip dated oct 9th, she references to a "project at work, one that could make quick work of this". The work she is referring to in her email to Phillip seems to be the connection between the abnormal events "that spans the world".

This project of hers sound very AI-like to me. I e a program that can think for itself, and analyze the facts that are put into it. It is plausible that this project is named "Labyrinth", regarding the email from MLO.

Could it be that Marcus loves his project so much that he uses it (or somethink related to as) as his password? I know many of us has tried Labyrinth as a password, with no results. But do you think we can use AI-related combinations instead, rather that the projectname itself?

I have, of course, tried "AI", "Artificial intelligence", and so on, without results. Can anyone think of more references to AI?

I'm having another go at the MLO login dilemma...

9999: There's one thing in your theory that is not consistent with the facts, and that's the name of this mysterious project: it couldn't be Labyrinth, because that is what Beth is doing research on, so then she would have to have access to that as well...

I think Labyrinth and the project Ormond has access to are two different projects.

As for the login, I'm gonna stick to the clues we have been provided with on the Bio page for the moment, as Phillip Gairden's was pretty straightforward as well... although you can hardly call MLO's password "straightforward" anymore Confused

I've been trying to look for connections between Aldous Huxley / Brave New World and The Beatles / When I'm 64 and came up with the following:

1) The (cover of the) album Sgt. Pepper, where Huxley is in 18th position, if you include Leo Gorcey in the count (who was origanlly on the cover, but later painted out)

2) Their mutual love for drugs (mainly LSD)

3) The fact that Huxley died on november 22, 1963, the day "With The Beatles", their second album was released (and the day JFK got shot)

4) There's an album from the Steve Miller band called "Brave New World", on which Paul McCartney collaborates on one song (My Dark Hour).

Alas all this did not turn up anything yet Sad

On that password

Have tried many combinations. Thought the congrats picture might be referring to Ringo Starr, tried all the Beatles members and their offsiders, tried the key of the song, the chords used, the words, the album title, other songs on the album, even thought the prime number idea might be the way to go (seeing as MLO is 64) grrrrr it is so frustrating

Kinda hard to qualify exactly where I should post this one, but the other most recent star is from the silvia puzzles: "Gold star for you"?

A beatles tie-in? Gold albums? Its either that or something else to do with the Congratulations piccie on paintover... Or another herring... urg... Confused

I'm soooo glad I've kept an eye on this over my weekend here: catching up (again) would've been a nightmare if I'd taken 2 days off...

Beth's latest email mentions wanting Ormond's "superuser" access. So it could still be the same project.

Maybe labyrinth is some kind of connection mapping software. It'sprobably related to paul's plagues of egypt theory.

Some thoughts:

Brave new world
The story is set in A.F. (After Ford) 632, this is 632 years
after Ford has released the first T-ford (Grandma Duck-car)
this is in about A.D. 2535.

then 2003 (when Ormond turned 64) would be A.F. (After Ford) 100 !

In 1958, Aldous Huxley (at the age of 64!) wrote what might be called a sequel to his novel Brave New World:
http://www.palmdigitalmedia.com/book.cgi/0795300158
The book is called "Brave New World Revisited"

Boy you guys have done tons of research!
But, I'm not so sure his password is that obscure. Isn't this the same guy who had trouble hitting the pound key in his voice mail message? Very Happy

also noticed that the red boxes at the bottom of the new pic on paintover are the same pattern as a social security number. Not sure if that's a clue or me drawing straws. Confused

Wow! That sounds almost too good to be true...

No match yet though, I tried:

100
100af
100a.f.
a.f.100
100 af
100 a.f.
100afterford
afterford
revisited

Yep, seems you're right, it refers to Labyrinth.

Hmm, interesting. I'm not familiar with the American (?) system of social security no. notation, couldn't easily find anything on Google at a glance either, do you have an example?

I know how the system works though, it is also often used in categorizing stuff... I know the origin-tracking system of the photolab of my company works in the same way... I'll check and see if I can find out how the notation works tomorrow.

actually, I take that back the pattern on paintover is 3-2-3 and a social would be 3-2-4... Embarassed
