The only thing is, all three people joined the company in 260 or before. Seems kind of odd that they would start working here so long ago just for this opportunity. I mean, talk about foresight!

As far as posting on the internal board, I recommend doing so under the name Shana Prouset. She's a tech intern who says she'll be "in an out" for the next couple of months due to her studies at Edyta. There's a good chance she won't notice the post for a while if we do so under her name. Still not sure what we should post if we're gonna con someone into giving us the file system password.

Good point, Spankit. Of course, we can't rule out the possibility that this person (or people) was a long-term believer in ... whatever it is the person who gave us that message believes. Laughing The opportunity could have come up, and the person who was most likely to jump at the chance would be the activist-type. I'm interested to know why the sound engineer is nolonger working for the company.

I do think we'll have to post on the message board for one reason or another (exciting!), and most likely to confirm the identity of the elusive Sound Engineer, but I hope we'll be very careful to not blow our cover too early. Confused

EDIT: And now, a very sleepy Fraggle will crawl into her rock and catch some Zzzzs. ... unless the PPC bug grabs her again in the next few minutes. Wink

yes but are we sure it was the sound engineer who did this? Could anyone else have done it?

I don't know anything about CD/ music production...

I've been reading throught the profiles, and the statement on Kai Cinelli's (Media Liason) caught my eye.

This may be worth looking into too. There may be info about what leaks have occured and who was involved.

I think the post about the forum 'operating on an honour system' is a pretty clear indication that we should be using the forums to get at this info. We already have a pending post requesting more on the filesystem login.

Yup, and based on the TINAG principle we don't want to rattle too many posts in there as they may become supicious very quickly...

and based on TIAG if too many get submitted it will tie up MC deciding which ones to post...

It's worth remembering that:

We've been having a few troubles with our key reader for identification on the network! As a temporary measure, we've put up the usual puzzle-based access system. It's pretty simple - one for the musicians among you. If you're having trouble solving it, get back to school!

It's a temporary measure. We may have a time limit on this, although I like to think that MC will won't pull the plug on the site before we've found enough information. Or they might be really horrid and wait till we've found a bit of info, then pull it when it starts getting juicy!

I don't come online for one evening and look at all the fun I missed!

Jo

EDIT: Oops I mean won't, I mean won't!!!

Just to say a big CONGRATULATIONS to those of you who sat there banging your heads against this till it worked! Very Happy

I'm now cursing my lack of memory for jazz chord sequences...

(I had a dream last night that we cracked it, and the answer was 'jason' for some reason... I'm going to stop eating cheese before bed.)

I just wish I had tried it last night Wink Well done Mokey though, good solve... Very Happy and a well done to Phant too for all that splicing Very Happy

I know that was you, Charlie. That is NOT FUNNY. Don't you know we have an honour system, here?

Seems like we've been given the hint that maybe we have to pose as another user? Just a thought
