Probably not quite as messy. Hopefully not as messy anyway. I bet she is the main one that co-ordinated the cognative enhancements on the CD. Only makes sense right? She worked with Cognivia for a while. I would agree. Definitely worth a look or two.

Does nobody else remember why the Viard album was supposedly banned from Perplex City?

It was because the music was supposed to be engineered to enhance mental abilites while you listened to it.

Something right up Applebaum's alley!

Oh, and:

Just repost the thing, Kev. I got locked out of the system, and my key is on the fritz. Took me an hour just to remember how to get in! I could probably get it on any other day, but I'm still off the ball a bit from Finals Night. I really need to get some emergency back-up files off the system.

Kevin, you have to help me out here.

Yes or no, folks?

I already said that

But yeah. That post sounds good to me. See what everyone else thinks.

Wait, is that what you are planning on posting? Like I said, I really think we should post stuff under the name Shana Prouset. She's unlikely to see the post for a while, unlike Rico Garrett who is a full time employee and probably sees the boards everyday. Shana even says that she's going to be "in and out" for the next couple of months. Other than that, seems alright, I guess.

We could always use Kevin Allbright, I know he is there but we could get the info long before he notices and even then he would just blame it on "charlie" who seems to be the office jokester.

Waddya think?

What is Ms. Nuru still employed for if her work prevents records from being sold in Perplex City, as it did with Viard's latest?

I think we may need the info *from* Kevin, so I don't know that posing as him would necessarily work.

And FYI: I've split this thread from the old Hesh Intranet thread - it was getting too unwieldy. Thread on site-entrance puzzle now in Puzzle forum, here

I second Loqust's proposal to post as Charlie the joker (or Kevin Allbright), although Spankit's point about Shana "in and out" is also a good one. Both those offer opportunities for fake posting.

EDIT : Oh. Fair point Cassandra. Which means I retract my comment... I thought the Charlie "faker" might be a good way in.

Well, I would have considered sending it under Shana Prouset, but the matter of it is that if everyone acts as Shana, it'll look ridiculous! I mean, why would she suddenly say so many messages about the same thing? We should have 'attacked' from several viable angles. We have a good deal of other names, so we should make it look like it's a problem with more than just Jill and Shana.

Of course, I didn't send it yet. So if anybody can find another good name to assume, then I'll go ahead. Until then, I'll hold off. Smile

And, I'll go tell Kurt about where we are now, though I'm sure he has more than enough mails as is.

EDIT: And now that I saw it? That Charlie idea = brilliant.
No matter what we say or do, it's Charlie's fault.

Who's a cute little scapegoat? Who is it?
Is it yoo?
Isichoo?! Razz

i'm sorry if I've missed something but how exactly are you going to post this message? I am guessing that you plan on doing this once into the file system.. but if your in the file system obviously you would have access to quite a bit of information.

EDIT sorry didn't see this big grey box that says POST NEW TOPIC

Gaspar: I wasn't suggesting that everyone start posting under Shana's name. In fact, I don't think it would be wise if everyone posted under any name. I suggest that we come to some sort of consensus on how to proceed and then have one person post under Shana's name. If we have multiple bogus posts popping up on the message board (all asking for the password to the file system) which all happen to appear right after they put the puzzle-based password in place, things are gonna look suspicious. I mean, if they start catching on, we can pin the blame on Charlie for one or two posts maybe. Beyond that, they're gonna know that there's been a security breach.

I leave this board alone to catch up on coursework for a while and I miss all the fun after weeks of waiting!!! well done to everyone who solved the puzzle.

I tried lots of random passwords for the filesystem access, but nothing so far. I'm trying things down the sound route, binaural, etc...
