Because I know how overwhealming the WIBS forums are, here is the email Tucker got back from Anita Martinez (whose email was found via the Tio do Mistério site).

I look on your website and it look as the writing of my uncle Ferdinand. But the feijoada is not the way of my grandmother. Her feijoada is very spicy and makes of the ear and foot of the pig. Perhaps my uncle change it more like the American tastes, but he is know for his study not his cooking. So it may taste no to good!

I do not know if Ferdinand goes to Newton Iowa in the past, it is possible. He travels all over the world in his life. He tells the children stories of his travel, but I do not remember Newton in the stories. I do not know the painting, but it resembles like the crop circle, of which Ferdinand have talk about. We never are certain when uncle Ferdinand tells the truth or only making stories. But we always love to listen anyway.

Yes my uncle was knowing the man called Benjamin Stove. I send you a photograph of Benjamin with my cousin Joaquim. Benjamin is at left. I make it shortly before my uncle dies. I only meet Benjamin this day of the photograph, but I know Ferdinand believe him like the old friend and pen pal. This is the only photograph I find of Benjamin.

 		Update: He got another email. Apparently Anita was annoyed that her letter was published verbatim on the forum. The crew is writing an apology now..

I don't think it's a mural, just manic floral wallpaper.

I think he's talking about the mural behind Ferdinand's picture. But yes, the wallpaper behind Ben and Joaquim is quite scary.

 		Btw, I emailed Anita looking to see if she would respond to players as well as Tucker. I asked her if she had any info as to where her uncle's research back. Sadly, she has responded to Tucker and not me. So now I'm kinda lost as to what to do now.
