By the way, it's probably a bit late now, but hey Orbicon just finished and I've got some spare time: I don't think there has been prior mention of file0813.mp3 in the gateway/images folder, nor the enigmatic http://vaporlofts.com/gateway/images/numbers.html.
I dunno about the numbers html, but 0813.mp3 has

I don't think there was any prior findage of either numbers.html or file0813.mp3.

And hmmm, we obviously something's going on. I hope it is a clutches scenario as opposed to a implosion one.

Edit: The 391226 on the numbers page probably refers to the video (which was 391226.mov), but it might be used as a password or something somewhere, who knows.

Interestingly, the live journal for Mr Paris has not been deleted even thought it hasn't had an entry in three months.

That's true, although changes have been made to it in the last few days.
Probably just edited to avoid deletion. The changes are not obvious, but they have shown up in Webwatcher. Stupid as I am I have not compared the two versions because it looked identical. Now I can no longer do that and I have no idea what could have changed. Probably just a space added somewhere, though.

 		They were both in the http://vaporlofts.com/gateway/images/ directory. Both had been there for about a month I think, but had gone undetected by anyone here.

Also, the parent dirctory seems to have been updated a week later than those files were added, but what that change was I do not know.

 		A user has to request that their Livejournal account be deleted--LJ admin don't just up and delete unused/latent accounts...

OK, good point. So something intentional is up. But given this, a few things are still puzzling - why keep the VL site up? Why keep Paris's LJ around? Regardless, things do not look good.
