[META] London PCAG Update - Too many players, registration Ok, i could just keep this information for myself. Or i could tell you, and you could all be as aware as i am. I'm going to tell you. Why? I dunno.. conscience maybe. I wrote to mind candy and got a reply. They told me how the london thing will work, and its only fair we all know what to look for and have the same chance. So here it is. I promise its genuine.

We are currently designing a registration system that will give preference to
fully-formed teams, and to people who sign up early to our registration
website (not yet online). As you know, we have limited space and we were not
expecting anywhere near the volume of interest that we experienced, so
inevitably many people will be disappointing - many of whom will,
unfortunately, be long-time players.
We understand the current uncertainty, and will put out more information as
soon as we can.
Best regards,
Perplex City Customer Service
EDIT- moved thread to "Meta" forum, changed topic slightly to reflect - SG

I second that. Their email showed an outrageous bias towards unfiction members. Boo Mindcandy, Boo.

I read the email as Mind Candy apologising for the fact that many long-time players won't be selected due to numbers so I don't understand how it can be read as biased towards unfiction.

It's top notch parody-I'm off to write for Rory Bremner.

Chris - my lawyers will shortly be in touch with reference to the matter of a replacement laptop, my previous one having encountered a slight issue with regards to my snorting a large quantity of coffee into the keyboard when I read your post.
I will also be claiming for the severe emotional damage and trauma suffered during this unsavoury incident. People like you should be consigned to the dustbin of UnFiction forthwith, if not fifthwith.
Yours, over-litigiously
J
P.S. I appreciate that this matter might drop me from your top five favourite posters, but it is a risk which I am willing to take.

You're very presumptuous today.

Careful, I might have to add the trauma, suffering and mental anguish which I would suffer from learning that I'm *not* in your top five posters to the claim. My finger is hovering over the speed-dial button for "Claims Direct". Don't make me push that button...

Travelling Performer? - I do hope that I've not been overly-presumptuous with regards to the information that you have, so kindly, supplied here - but I really did feel, in the interests of "fairness" that it should be spread far and wide, and have posted it to the main PxC forums also. If you have any problems with my having done this, please, feel free to let me know and I'll have it removed - wouldn't want to be "unfair" to anyone.
