Scratch-off panels

 		Scratch-off panels
Is there more than one type of scratch-off panel?
I ask this because somtimes they seem to come off really easily, and somtimes it takes ages, scratching furiously with a penny, to even notice any effort
I got The Syzygy Cube today, and when I went to scratch off the panel, it took a chunk of the white off too, leaving a silver streak Crying or Very sad
Anyone else had problems like this?
