I love the music on the code entry screen... haunting. But I can see maybe wanting to be able to skip it at some point. Smile

42 certainly seems to be interested in making more accessible games, for which I commend them, but darned if I can glean any other solves from what's on the site. I even tried poking around in the ActionScript (only because Elan said this was a work in progress, mind you).

LOL, I think they kinda want someone to buy the clothes before we get any more solves. Laughing

I rather suspect we won't be able to solve anything else until the clothes come out.

do you mean that there are three different codes that will work to view the same 'story clip'...or three different codes all together that will give three different 'story clips'

Each code given in WIRED will give you a different response from the site. Only one will actually unlock the story clip.

Wait, are you saying I'm getting to get involved with something before it actually starts for a change? Well, I'm happy now.

That's all my two cents for now though. I've been up to long to add anything constructive right now.

PS. I do like how at least two of the songs from the Broken Halo EP can be (and this is sort of a long shot and probably just a fun little insertion if true) tied to previous Lee projects.

"Overcast" = clouds = Cloudmakers
"Broken Halo" = Halo = ILB

I havn't been around to play any of his other projects so I don't what arson and such would have to do with anything.

EDITTED TO ADD: PSS - I'm pretty sure the cloud/broccoli symbol is a rose. Seems emo enough. Smile

After looking through some stuff on the website I think the quote/unquote narrator of the special clips is Allie Wayles (interm webmistress). It's basically her posting the installments of the big band bio left by the missing Lyn Folger.

Just a thought.

Elan Lee and Kevin Small were on G4's Attack Of The Show tonight.
Their Segment recap 'blog'
Episode #6013 Re-Air Schedule:
January 27 3am ET/PT
January 27 9am ET/PT
January 27 3pm ET/PT

There was not really any information that we don't already know that I could tell (It was the first I've heard of EDOC though I just read through this entire thread. Others, with more time invested in this already should maybe check it out and see if there are any other subtle clues the Elan dropped.)
In the end they give us the code 'FACADE'. It looks to be using the same video as the 'CALL ME A PATRIOT' code used.

www.myspace.com/poorrichard Has a page, that looks to be a band page. The only thing is, realistically anyone could have registered the name...
Poor Richard (F_S_F)
Alternative / Acoustic / Comedy

That (F_S_F) is very suspicious to me.

[wacky spec]THE SQUAD the creators/designers of the edoclaundry site, also do a lot of band work. One band they worked with is Further Seems Forever. FSF are breaking apart as a band, and are according to their site doing final show(s) in "early 2006". Most interestingly their most recent Album was entitled 'Hide Nothing'. Maybe somehow some of the ex FSF band members are involved here? [/wacky speculation] I know, I'm really going out on a limb here, but im just trying to follow any breadcrumbs.

I'm just glad it seems to be confirmed that the clothing will go on sale online in March.

If anyone happens to have a copy of the show saved to their computer, perhaps you could drop me a PM so I could, umm, come round to your house and watch it Wink

Thanks!

If anyone missed the G4 interview, it'll be on again:

2/17/2006 3am ET/PT

2/17/2006 9am ET/PT

2/17/2006 3pm ET/PT

Anyone catch the "Nothing to Hide" tag on the inside of the guitar shirt?

Hello all, just joined up here in anticipation of new edoc game, haven't found anything different from what's already been posted so far though. I caught the interview with Elan on AoTS this morning, and a few more players will most definitely roll in soon...I am very new at this, so please correct me if I make mistakes, I'm here to learn as well as to play the game. On that note, it just occurred to me that there might be an introduction section that I should be posting this in...if I'm in thewrong place, by all means, move this post... Embarassed

Well, we've nothing to hide. See you in March.

Hey all,

Just jumping in out of the ether here. Other then Majestic, this'll be my first ARG. Hopefully, I can participate on some level without buying the clothes because a) I'm kinda strapped for cash atm and b) my state, Alabama, isn't on the list of stores.

I think I've found something, though. The band Further Seems Forever is definitely connected to this, I'd say. For one thing, their most recent album was called "How to Start a Fire" and Poor Richard's first song was "Arson for Beginners." As someone already said, FSF's "upcoming" album is "Hide Nothing." And it might be nothing, but on the "How to Start a Fire" site, lead singer Jason (who seems to bear a striking resemblance to Adam of Poor Richard) mentions that he played a lot of Halo...

Saying this will make me automatically wrong, but I think you read too much into this.

a few notes

My friend and I did research on our local edoc distributor. The address and website doesn't exist.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I also ran across mis matching logos. Skully, Framed, and Urban Life have matching logos on their backs and in the shirt description. The other shirts don't match up. Maybe a hint in the priority of the clues?
