Hesh barcodes and insights numbers

I have noticed, as I am sure many others have before me, that there is a barcode on the hesh album, though it is not available in shops, there are also 3 barcodes on the mondegreen card.

Methinks there may be a puzzle here (maybe to get another blog, if so we need to get it quick so as not to miss out on important info) also on this card is an odd squigly dotted line through the third label, maybe the letters that it runs through have some significance.

There is also still the sequence of numbers on the card insights, which is obviously a puzzle to figure out.

I just thought I'd bring these to people's attention as they clearly need solving and seem to be getting ignored with everything else going on, who knows, they could lead us to another puzzle trail, or perplexian website.

Whoa! Good spot!

Hmmm...or maybe not - never a good idea to plagiarise, especially as it's so certain that it'll be noticed... Credit to Silverfox who posted this same theory, an hour beforehand.

Analysis of the album barcode gives:

0689076955690

Which is consistent with the numbering beneath the barcode.

I haven't been able to decode Mondegreen yet, I haven't got that card and I can't get a decent quality image from anywhere Sad

It should be in the post to me soon though so as soon as I have it I will check it out.

The numbers on mondegreen are:
8 07297 07931 9
8 07291 07491 8
There are two of the second one, but they're really small, so I may have made a transcription error

Sorry, but like I said in my first post, 'I have noticed, as I am sure many others have before me', I did acknowledge that other people had noticed this, I just should have credited this to silverfox, nice work!

*looks at amazon page* Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

*dies laughing* Laughing Laughing Laughing

Now all we have to do is find two more completely irrelevant, amusing books from online retailers and I'll laugh so hard that I come back to life. Very Happy

If you drop the leading '8' they could be UK mobile numbers:

07297 079319
07291 074918

Anyone fancy calling them? Wink

Good idea, sadly both return simply "Sorry, the number you have called is not available"

I wonder if this website and the bar codes are linked ?

we think you need to drag the boxes to make a message which will provide us the password-there's a thread in the main section.

Been completely ignoring insights for a while, but the more I think about it the more I am certain this will lead to caine's blog, first there is all the stuff with hesh going on, then there's the fact that this card is by kurt, who gave us the other 3 blogs and I am now pretty much certain we are meant to know about caine's blog by now!

So, all I've been able to pull from this is that 55 is seen six times in a distinct pattern, two other numbers are use twice and the rest are all used only once, well not much progress I know, but I'm not awfully good at code-breaking!
