OK, well for some reason I can't log in, I never got an email after i registered, so until I do... You can call me yougetnehigh

After a long nght last night, lol I did some reasearch on Clue # 3. This is what I got:

As stated in an earlier post, the clue is probably something with the flipping pages, and since the video says "Every Single Word is Priceless" I agree. The pages are seen being flipped very fast, then they slow down for 6 pages. This is what I got off all six pages. (Or at least the bottom left corner)

Page 1
..are satisified in(?)
..do not reject it...
Sparta, which...
communities which have...
selves to enjoy...

Page 2
..popular glory...
..nothing very froghtining...
..Democritus, "and no one...
..really high-minded and...

Page 3
..so the prof(?)...
..one fares well: is...
..name.( 62 footnote reference number) When Socrates...
..replied. "The world's...

Page 4
..and night: he
..did something...

..verbal indications of...
....the line they had to draw...

Page 5
(to fast to read anything)

Page 6
..said Brutus..
..phy in the first place...
whether my efforts..
...I have no idea.But I...
..only chance I have, to...
..the many troubles that press..

On Page 2 it says the name "Democritus" This is Democritus of Abdera. B. 460bc Died 370bc. Famous for his Atomic Theory.

On Page 3 it has what looks like a possible quote from Socrates. "The World's..." After searching for this phrase I discovered a site:

http://www.sfpnn.com/Lynn/ll072501.htm

The titlle of the site on google was ll072501 (Maybe a code?)

tIt is a book review of the book "The Way of the Peaceful Warrior" by Dan Millman. The quote is "The world is a puzzle, no need to make sense out of it. "The link at the bottom of the page:

http://www.sfpnn.com/lynn_lennert.htm

goes to a book review site. During the video after the flipping pages it says somes things about Aladdins Lamp, King Midas Touch, Solomons Mines, THe Holy Grail. Then words flash by fast. The words are
(in Order) Wealth, Success, Health, Happiness, Knowledge. On the site on the bottom are more book reviews, such as "The Aladdin Factor" "The Art of Happiness" (with a monk on the cover) and "The World's Greatest Salesman"

According to the review for "The Worlds Greates Salesman" is as follows

"Set 2000 years ago, this book tells the story of Hafid, a camel boy who rose to become the wealthiest merchant of his time. This book reveals the contents of the ten scrolls which propelled Hafid to greatness. The principles contained within the scrolls apply not only to selling, but to being a healthy, happy, well-rounded human being who contributes something positive to this world.

This book will help you sell the most important thing you have, your dreams, to the most important person in your life - yourself."

Also in the Video as the Words are flashing by, they are accomapanied by a short video clips from the scenes earlier in the video.
But watch them closely, I didn't even see it for a while but then I saw it,right there in front of me, don't know how I missed it. The scenes that play are as follows: (In Order)

Man in Solomon's Mine
Greek Man (Brutus?)
Woman in a Labratory drinking a vile of blue liquid
Man who found Aladdin's Lamp
Man drinking from Holy Grail

??????? Does something seem wrong with that 3rd clip, where did that come from, it seems so out of place doesnt it.

Well thats all I got for now, its late, well actually early now. Not sure if any of this is revelant, but it seems like it might. Do what you want with it.

I'm betting the vial of blue water (that is connected with Health) is a vial from the Fountain of Eternal Youth.

King Solomon's Mines
The Midas Touch
Fountain of Eternal Youth
Aladin's Lamp
The Holy Grail

Technically, aren't all of these fictional? I'm not big on king solomon's mines, but the rest are supposedly fictional (well, holy grail... uhmm maybe).

On a side note here, you may want to check in your spam bucket. Other people have reported that their confirmation email is often filtered out. Otherwise, track down an admin (not a moderator) if you can.

I tried finding somewhere these phrases might be found together:
Quote:
Page 2
..popular glory...
..nothing very froghtining*...
..Democritus, "and no one...
..really high-minded and...

and I ended up with page 201 of Cicero's Tusculan Disputations -- but only every other line of this exerpt.
Quote:
XXXVI. Let us inquire,... We may perceive, therefore, that popular glory is not desirable of itself; nor is obscurity to be dreaded. "I came to Athens," saith Democritus, "and there was no one there that knew me:"

I'm happy to think that the book in the video clue was a mock-up composed of snippets from other texts.

*p.s., was this a typo on your part, or is that the way it is spelled in the video?

From what I can tell, this is true. No other book I can find anywhere contains these phrases. The First page is number 50 and the last page is 62 if that helps.

Also, I don't think that the woman drinkingt the blue liquid is the fountain of youth.
Look at it closley, its a woman drinking out of a test tube. In the background there are bottles on a shelf. I think its safe to say shes in a modern day labratory. All the other scence look like they were set a thousand years ago. If that is the fountain of youth, why would they show a woman drinking water from it in a Lab, instead of Ponce de Leon finding the fountain of youth.
That doesnt make sence do it?

It does make sense Smile

But if this is supposedly a secret carried over to modern age, perhaps these things 'exist' now, but we only believe they are fictional.

Are there any other fictional doctors with a miraculous potion? And don't say Jekyll and Hyde, we need female doctors Wink.

BUT, is the rest of the book (page 1,3,4,5 ) part of Cicero's tale?

Wiki tells us Cicero suffered from a lack of any sort of parential fame, wealth, or talent, yet florish. He'd be a prime choice to be someone who got 'The Secret'

It's smelling more and more and more like a Viral Ad.

And some of that stuff on the Secret Forums turned my stomach. I have a feeling I don't like where this is going.

Yep, sad really. And, even sadder that you have to pay every time you want to watch it. So, if you miss anything the first time, or want to see if there are any clues, you have to pay again for the stream. Sad

I've figured out the secret:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You can get rich if you put up a viral ad promising to release a secret that can change the world. You build up massive amounts of hype, then you charge $4.95 for an informercial to tell people how to start their own viral ad promising to release a secret that can change the world and how they too can charge $4.95 for this secret!

Vividas is basically a marketing company. Not that "marketing company" is a bad word...

Nor is Vividas - they had a preview of Serenity before it was released in theaters.

But it looks like they are trying to hype an ad campaign. Wouldn't the Super Bowl have been a better time for that?

'The Secret' was briefly advertised on Australian TV in late December or Early January as an upcoming Telemovie/Mini-series sort of thing. About the same time the viral campaign said something about delaying the release of the secret the ads were pulled from broadcast and it hasn't been heard of since. My guess is that the marketing company figured that the buzz they were producing on the web gave them an opportunity to make some pre-mainstream-release cash via pay-per-view netcasts and limited dvd sales. Going by the disclaimer about PNG, NZ and Australia, I'm guessing they couldn't weedle their way out of an earlier contract signed with the TV network in this area.

Or I could be full of sheets

I coughed up the $4.95 and am watching now. Just to let you know, you can rewind, fastforward, and pause(to finish watching at a later time) if you wish. There was some concern earlier you would have to pay every time you wanted to watch, but it appears to be a one time flat fee.

I don't know "the secret" yet, but so far it appears well made and intriguing.

*Edit
I've got so far as to know it has something to do with "The Law of Attraction"

*Hilarious Quote From The Film

"I don't know how electricity works, but I know this: You can cook a man's dinner with electricity, but you can also cook the man."

Reminds me of "Build a man a fire and keep him warm for a night. Set a man on fire and keep him warm the rest of his life."

*EDIT

The Secret Is:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1. Ask: Visualize a goal as if it is already achieved.
2. Answer: Answer your visualization with the emotion associated with receiving it. For example, see yourself receiving 25,000 extra income this year. See it in your hand and believe/feel the gratefulness, relief, and joy as if it was happening in the moment.
3. Receive: The scientific law of attraction will move the energy exuded into affect and events will begin to unfold. Therefore one must be open to what is happening. Trust inspired thought and act on it.

There are steps given on how to act upon and initialize this practice.
1. Make a list of what you're grateful for. Every morning think about it and FEEL it.
2. Dwell upon the end result. Visualization=Materialization. The emotion associated with the goal opens the door to the law of attraction.

I must say, the credentials of those endorsing this "Law of Attraction" is impressive. Multiple Quantum Physicists, PhD's, and philosophers tout this is truly THE SECRET to success (even the guy who wrote Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus..heh). The quotes from famous successful historical figures support their claims. I'm not sure how it's such A SECRET given the power of positive thinking has been in existence forever, and they don't get into when or where The Secret was supposedly "buried."

All in all, it was an interesting watch. It was worth the $4.95 if only for entertainment value. It's also a good reminder of our ability to manifest our own destiny. Some big Secret though, it's not.
