What's with the song title? 'Too Much Love Will Kill You' It's a song by Queen, at a pinch the lyrics could apply to V, but what did Monica's murder have to do with love? Unless he thinks she loved Pietro, in which case it would make sense... he thought her unstable because of love.

This leads me to the conclusion this tape was never meant for us it was designed to scare someone off, maybe C. It all fits, the message is designed to tell the 3P person that they're watching them, and the title means 'this is what happens if you let your feelings get in the way', the whole thing is designed to scare someone off messing with them.

Could well be, apart from the fact there is evidence to suggest that claire has been kidnapped by the 3P. Maybe Scarlett's next post will shed more light.

So we're now thinking:

a) Cyrus is V / or at least "bad", and the whole point of the exercise was to frame Helena Frye and sabotage the Gillet Road deal, with the recording just a "Ha! Thought you'd found me!" dealio;

b) Cyrus is good, and Helena actually is crooked. He got the MP3 file as a threat, and is now in-hiding / dead.

The "V works at the academy" spec comes fFrom 2 things.

originally, it was pointed out by Kurt's buddy that the hiest would have required 2 people inside to pull it off. K and Q were both outsiders, so it had to be C and V. but this was before things got more complicated, and we learned about the 3P. now we see there could be quite a great many 3P people all over, and any two working at the academy would be in just the right situation.

Secondly: the Leaked emails include some mails fFrom V. all the mail is going in or out of the academy, so it is easy to impose the previous information with this linkup to go on the assessment that V was definitely inside the academy. However this too is incorrect, as there are a number of messages which come fFrom outside. specifically, the emails fFrom scarlett, who has never done anything at the academy but visit her dad.

In usmmary, no, we have absolutely no proof whatsoever V is now working or has ever worked in the academy.

I fear we may be missing a trick here. The accent on the Hesh radio is very heavy 'London', whilst if memory serves the accent of the editor of the sentinel (Miko?) had what we would relate as an American accent. Perhaps we whould pursuit this as a way of identifying people.

The accents on the 'Monica Grand' recording were both 'English' so perhaps this is the prevelent accent in Perplex City whilst the other accents are more indicative of denzins of outlying regions of the city state?

Perhaps we should ask Violet or Kurt as to whether there is any significance there? If we could identify a strong London accent as being distinct to 'region x' then confirm Cyrus' origins we may be able to tie the two together and confirm or deny that the voice on the recording it that of Cyrus??

I suppose that we don't *know* that Cyrus was the only person to work on the CD.

We do know that Cyrus worked on the album originally. Someone else (maybe the real 3P agent) could later have added the messages. As Cyrus had already left this would leave the agent with a great person to take the blame, so the agent plants the incriminating files.

The difficulty with this theory is that according to Kurt, Cyrus never existed! Why would an innocent be living under a false name, and then disappear?

To my discredit I tend to email few characters so I'd be very suprised if it were to do with emailing a particular charater. Not everyone on the list wrote a chapter in the book. I can't really think of anything else that links us other than our dashing good looks.
