I just got it also!! I think a got a hotel room about 5 miles away if anyone want to meet early, trade, or create a plan of attack should 3P shows Smile

let me know. Also, I've only been to NYC a few times so any sugesstions would be great. See you there!

No such luck with meeting so early, I'm afraid, but I'll be there on time, if not 30 minutes ahead. Semi-locals with business get different schedules and all.

In keeping a roll-call I'll say it here:
I'm in. planning on attending the Toy fFair in the day, then meetup at the bar afterwards. I dont know what i'll be taking, car bus plain or train. car seems half reasonable fFrom upstate NY, except fFor that 8 hour drive, and the bus is surprisingly more expensive than i would have guessed. Anyway. I'll see you there. Smile

I just started up in ARGs about a week ago, been lurking around here since then. Discovered PPC yesterday, and I'm already hooked.

I'll be at the NYC event. Anyone else coming down from the Boston area?

ok, time to ask about where to crash. I am fFlying into town in the morning, and fFlying back out the next morning. but i have nowhere to stay presently. obviously i can stay absolutely anywhere. but i believe gaspar said he was getting a room somewhere, and there plenty of locals, and others who are trotting in long distances. So the burning question is: Does anyone wanna either share a hotel room, or lend me some fFloor space? I'm quite agreeable and can sleep in almost any space at all. couch, bathtub, stairwell, rooftop hidden tunnel under the city. I'm told they have beds in the city as well.

I don't have a room at the moment either, though I can't afford something insanely expensive. Otherwise, I'll be searching out old acquaintances in Brooklyn..

Also, I have an enormous amount of cards, and will be bringing some to the event in hopes of doing a little swapping myself Wink

Or just plain giving them away to unsuspecting patrons.

I got a room at the Woogo Devon Hotel about 5 miles away and if a few of you don't have anywhere to crash mi casa e su casa. I dont know the place but it looks like a few people can fit in. Don't worry about the money; new friends, gin, and a few new cards are the best currency. (Did I get that in the right order maybe gin's first.) If anyone knows the hotel give me a pm.

I mentioned this somewhere else, but an someone please take down a record of the rules of any Perplexian games? (Clash, Pyramid, Twin Wheel, etc.) I would greatly appreciate it. I think all of us Unfictionites wanna learn how to play, but not all of us can attend(such as myself).

I'll write down the rules of any new Perplex City games that we'll play. I have a feeling there may be a few "Firebox exclusives" that we may be tackling for the Toy Fair. Being a marketing guinea pig won't be so bad if they're buying drinks though.

Scott's been calling me as the event progresses and bagsbee is in the IRC channel, so here are some things that have happened so far:

At the Toy Fair, MC handed out special versions of Wave 3 of the cards, including 001 'dem old bones' and 004' zoo zanyism':

So far at the PCAG event, they've played a game like 'rock paper scissors' but with 'cube pyramid sphere', and a game called Set (http://www.setgame.com/set/). I think there are six or seven 'rounds' total.

Then, the fun stuff! Everyone at the event started getting phone calls with the following message:

"You keep on searching, but you don't know what you're looking for or what's looking for you. I can help. I have some inside information about the third power. Tell your people to stay sharp in London, and they'll come away with more than just a trophy."

Because it's so loud in the bar, they don't know exactly what was said. But that's the closest approximation.

I'll update as the event progresses, and as I get more calls. Very Happy
