[00:26] <LAX> I stopped at the gas station across from the Walgreens though.
[00:26] <teh_lisa> heh i didnt even see a walgreens
[00:26] <Chewy> LAX, so there are 32 postcards in circulation... one for each puzzle?
[00:26] <teh_lisa> i stopped at some gas station that had 2 umps and no card readers in them
[00:26] <teh_lisa> then an amsih horse and buggy passed us

[00:27] <teh_lisa> i learned valentine doesnt like horses

[14:04] <SarahFisher> I guess I take it too easy on that front. Jason works for a chemicals company, those kinds of companies have government contracts. He says he can't tell me because it's stuff for work, and I don't ask.

[14:33] <SarahFisher> I has been thinking that Jason's company name started with a U, but perhaps it begins with I. I looked online at some chemicals companies here in Kentucky but I didn't run across anything that sounded familiar.

I mentioned the IC reference as possibly being the initials of Jason's company in a thread a couple of weeks ago, but it certainly didn't lead me to any major discoveries.

We weren't sure at the time whether it had or hadn't been mentioned before, she put us on the spot a little Smile

So we were winging it.

But, IC still doesn't give us any clues, although she is going to get back to us with the name soon hopefully. That's if Jason doesn't kill her or anything when he gets back.

[06:26] <LAX> I have sort of come to the conclusion that sending the posters out would have been an easier task.
[06:26] <Kender> Some friends of mine once his something somewhere and tried to get someone over the internet to find it
[06:27] <Kender> it was a sort of game
[06:27] <Kender> also known as the Omnifam ARG
[06:27] <Kender> but the guy never found it, no matter how many hints and maps we gave him
[06:27] <Kender> so that item is going to stay there forever Smile

[06:28] <LAX> I guess I have run into a similar, however somewhat different problem.

[06:29] <Kender> the postcard puzzles are fun though
[06:29] <Kender> I'm a bit overwhelmed now we've got them all Sad

[06:29] <LAX> Still, the point of them is lost without the posters being found.
[06:29] <Kender> heh, you could always just put up all the posters on posterlog
[06:30] <LAX> I have stated that if the posters are not in the location where the clues lead them to be, that that is the route that I will take.
[06:30] <Kender> you could also post the solutions to the posters
[06:30] <LAX> Your effort is all that I ask of you.
[06:31] <Kender> plenty of that around I notice
[06:31] <Kender> people have been finding posters without us knowing who they are
[06:31] <LAX> Are you with the same group of people who are in this room right now?

[06:32] <Kender> maybe I'll go looking for another group.
[06:32] <LAX> They will not be hard to find. However, they are not as gathered as your group appears to be.
[06:33] <Kender> but they seem to have more success..
[06:33] <LAX> They are working alone, rather then together.
[06:33] <LAX> That is true. A fact that I can neither explain nor deny.
[06:35] <LAX> I can only say that they are receiving e-mails by me when a clue has been found for a poster in their location. Something that I have done for all of those who have had the same happen for them.
[06:35] <Kender> I know. I feel a lot more clues have been found than those we are aware of.
[06:36] <LAX> That may well be very true.
[06:36] <LAX> Although you have not received anything more or different then anyone else.
[06:36] <Kender> no matter. I still have fun doing the occasional puzzle.
[06:37] <LAX> I do have one possibility to add.
[06:37] <LAX> That maybe someone who was in your group as well has dropped out.
[06:37] <Kender> more than one has
[06:37] <LAX> In which case they are not going out to find the posters even though they are in the area of one.
[06:38] <Kender> such is the nature of an undertaking like this
[06:38] <LAX> I suppose.
[06:39] <LAX> You think large scale and end up on the short end of a very hot stick.
[06:39] <Kender> it's not that bad is it?
[06:40] <LAX> I will admit that I saw this going slightly different then it is being played out.
[06:40] <Kender> that's life for ya
[06:41] <LAX> not that bad? Well, when people trust you and things don't pan out the way that you say that they will, it ends up being that bad.
[06:41] <Kender> well, it only shows you're human, and not some Uber-AI mastemind machine Smile
