Noticed something cube-ish about the yellow Leitmark.
Above the 7 dark dots where the square usually is, are 12 dots tracing some of the edges of a cube. A cube has 12 edges.

Really? I thought it looked like an upside power switch symbol!
(assuming all leitmarks are viewed the same way with the square on the bottom right)

The square goes at the bottom left,
if you look on the leaderboard pages the 'cube' is much clearer
than in real life

yeah sorry I meant bottom left
Looking at it "virtual" your right, it is a cube, the "real" one hasnt got enough orange dots to make it obvious

Red leitmarks are awarded at 950 points, orange at 2,300, yellow at 4,500 and green at 5,900.
As half of the cards are now out, it makes sense to have half of the leitmarks available. The next two waves will higher more points as more black/silvers so the points total for this "half" will have to be lower.
I would imagine [SPEC] that they looked at the leaderboard and choose sensible numbers that would result in at least a few people having the Green one at this stage. Also the way the numbers work out, the top 10% have at least the Red leitmark. 950 points being 1567/15665 atm.[/SPEC]

My 4 arrived this morning too!
If everyone is going to be wearing these at the (London) Live Event - why would they - it's going to be very easy for 3P to pick us all off in the crowded streets

I hope they aren't doing this for a limited amount of people, because I really, really, really want to have my sweatshirt filled with Leitmarks. I need to sit down and do some hardcore puzzle solving.

I think that the leitmarks might be representative of the card suits as well as colours:
Red = Maze
Orange = I'm not too sure on this one, could be circles or water.
Yellow = Hex or Circles
Green = Pixel
This'd make sense as there are 8 suits and 8 colours, so each leitmark would represent a different suit.

Is it just me, or is it possible we can graph the current leit-giving scores in an attempt to predict the next ones?

The leitmarks are defo awarded based on your total points score. I am soooo close to getting my yellow, even though i have done all the yellow that are released so far - must be time to get some more packs....
I guess that the final one will be given when all the cards are completed (or should this read when someone solves Reimann )

Just had a quick look at this, the line does not seem to be straight, or exponential at first glance. Also the gap between orange and yellow is a lot higher than the gap between yellow and green...

So it's really close to linear, but
MC
the Academy is rounding off at 50's and 100's.
Linear regression on the first four points that we know gives this equation (with an R^2 value of 0.9907 -- that's a good fit in my book):
y = 1705x - 850
where x is the number of the leitmark (i.e., red = 1, orange = 2, etc.) and y is the number of points needed.
Thus the remaining leitmarks should be awarded at around (because they round off) 7700 (blue), 9400 (purple), 11100 (black), and 12800 (silver) points.
Double check my numbers, but it's a line...
