In one of Scarlett's stories we found out that something is going on at Viendenbourg i.e being built or some kind of digging and Sente having something to do with it and Helena saying this guy is really smart and may be to do with technology (cube) going missing from the academy. So our main suspicion could be Sente or someone in the academy, also the theft was believed to be an inside job.

We already basically knew this back on September 8th when Kurt posted that his friend said that it would take at least two people with inside knowledge of the Academy, and we have the emails we get when we solve a set of cards. They all seem to be sent to or from (usually both) someone in the academy, so the messages with the unknown sender and receiver most likely come from inside the academy. And now Helena basically confimed it.
I am in two minds about whether Sente is a massive red herring or not. I personally am currently suspecting Anna slightly more.

I hear a lot of speculation from people about Sente being the one involved at the Academy. Surely this is much too obvious though. Where are people getting these suspicions from? And why would he be helping the people of Earth to find it if he was in on the theft? Or am I misreading everyone's suspicions?

Or has ANOTHER group nicked the Cube from under Sente's nose and he wants it back for his own nefarious purposes?

I think the suspicion is due to the slightly sinister look of Sente in the picture first published.

perhaps the receda cube is a self contained gateway between earth and perplexcity, and they are limited to crossworld communitcations until the cube is found, and Sente is building an android army to invade earth once we find the cube and let him in.
