What planet are we on.

Just a thought, Perplexcity is only one city of many in the "Perplexcity" universe. ... This being said, Is Perplexcity on a planet of some kind? If so whats it called? I notice several other cities around Perplexcity. Viendenbourg is one, Anjsbourg is another. ...
Do we know of any other cities? ...

How big is the world perplexcity is on. ... is it a flat world somehow? is it round like earth? ... Does perplexcity have stars and a sky? or Somehow something else?

Scarlett mentions: Sometimes I wonder if we're going to fall off the edge of the world, like Madna does in the stories. Maybe, like him, we'll meet our shadows on the other side.

From Scarlett's postings ive gotten the impession that not much is known about the world outside of perplexcity. A lot of scattered history. They seem to know a lot about earth, but not much about their own world.

It sounds like Perplex City is the only City around with a few small towns on the out scarts. farther out there are only ruins. I think We will find out what Happened to them as the story goes on. How did the Cube stop the war? Rolling Eyes

Viendenbourg is more of a military base, and Anjsbourg is a city no more.

One other place we have heard of is Tanraga Town, where Scarlett stayed for a while before she went to Viendenbourg.

I've always found it interesting that they refer to us as 'Earth', referencing the entire planet, when they refer to themselves only as 'Perplex City'. They're definitely less aware of their surroundings than we are (or perhaps they know there's something terrible out there and they don't want anything to do with it).

I remember in one of Kurt's earlier posts he talked about how the initial search scanned beneath the planet's surface, and then they contemplated whether it had escaped orbit. It's definitely a spherical planet, but the residents of Perplex City just seem terribly isolationist/xenophobic/uninformed about the rest of it. Not that I would know anything about that, living in the US. Embarassed

Another thing that's probably been mentioned before:
Card #109 mentions a stretch of railroad to the west of the city which continues in a near-straight line for 100km. Where does it go to? This at least implies that at one time people did travel outside the city.

Certainly not isolationist (and not really the other two either)-hardly a bad thing.
