Well, I'm not sure that we should completely overlook his notes.

But as far as the files... Loads of stuff, it looks like...
Metacortechs announced that Avery will be going overseas on 01/04/2002.
Why does Marcus have notes about Avery's flight, luggage, etc.? He wouldn't be planning the trip for him - he's not his secretary.

It looks to me that the woman is defintely "off the grid" when you look at the notes - social security nuked etc etc.

Does this help confirm that they (or just she) are two of the hackers?

For v.m. erased, vm probably stands for voicemail. As to why Marcus would have details of James' trip, seems like he might be investigating his disappearance as aftermath. The girl photo page also has the question "What about J.?"

Btw, word after luggage is "aband" for abandoned, or could be "aboard".

looks like mlo knows (or is close to knowing) why these two employees have disappeared (e.g. the "why her, too?")
And could make sense with the "Labyrinth" project, trying to contain the minotaur, or matrix Smile

So mlo is getting stressed up in some sort of race aginst time, trying to get the project finished before all his employees disappear...

Is this way out?
