[London Event] Questions/puzzles/trivia For those that weren't there, this is what we were asked to do/find out. At the start we were given a sheet with the majority of the questions. My copy is covered in scribble, so I won't scan it, but unless some one gets there first I will transcribe it for you.
During the day we got sent a number of text messages, with trivia questions or spot challenges.

I know pineapple was a bit annoyed by the loo roll, she reckons that although a large surface area, the volume of our cool cardboard box was bigger. (btw dunno if anyone noticed but we did write on our box that the receda cube was inside...) Daffydil Im doing a scan now of the question sheet, theres a bit of scribble but still readable.

Ok, hopefully we can get complete answers here. I was in charge of the Perplex trivia questions, but I remember some of the other answers....
Quote:
601: 269AC
602: Kiteway
603: Ascendancy Point
604: Mazy River
605: Perplex City Sentinel
606: The Scarlett Kite
607: Viard (Album: Silver City)
608: Lecks (PPC's Currency)
Quote:
001: I think 35 floors at Centrepoint Tower
002: 48 Yellow Lanterns?
003: Someone stole the goat!
004: Apparently, you lose a shoe (as a deposit)
005: Miserable?
006: LXXXIV (84) - I believe
007: 4 cubes on Switzerland?
.......
009: Can't remember - but did have an answer
........
012: possibly 50 people, Val help me out here!
........
102: Someone said there were 7 buses in the mini model, I missed this - too busy trying to find the missing painting.
National Gallery trail wrote:
201: Edit: Phant informs me this is 30 ducats the guy charged 50 and got paid 20.
202: 40 petals (I think)
203: National Gallery, Washington
204: Room 32, 17th Century Italian Paintings (if I'm correct?)
The others were photos and challenges.
We did the race: I think it was an orange, banana and something else which had to be consumed.
Missed the congas by about 30 seconds.
Where was the Hokey Cokey, did not hear about that one!
But all in all, very good fun.

Agree with already mentioned Trivia answers
001 Someone in my team asked at reception and was told there were 34 floors (maybe that didn't include ground though)
002 I think we settled on 49 lanterns in the end.
003 spent ages vainly seaching for goat
004 yup shoe
005 phone numbers were continually engaged but miserable (outside Les Mis) makes sense
006 agree with LXXXIV (84)
007 yup 4 cubes
008 dunno - someone mentioned Mission Impossible was probably highest grossing with hand prints in leicester square.
009
...
012 can't quite remember but think it was 11,13,13,15 on each side + Nelson = 53
...
014 guessed fish
...
016 Burberry store
------
102 yup counted 7 red buses in model of trafalgar square (supermarket = Sainsbury wing of gallery)
201 there was a painting for which the artist requested 50 ducats but only received 20 (if I recall rightly) - therefore losing out on 30 ducats.
202 8 flowers on floor each with 5 petals = 40
203 we thought this was refering to a picture which had been removed from a wall in ?France onto which it had been painted
204 assume this was refering to room 32 which was closed
And we counted 12 people in the only painting marked "Virgin with child"
Edit: oh, and for the circle bit there was a picture of Whitehall to the SE so we left through North door
Re-Edit: sorry, the circle room which had a seat was room 29 and the picture of Whitehall was SW so we left thru East doorway
The fruit for the second race was:
Banana (what turns Eric ("Bananaman") Wimp yellow?)
Orange (the future's bright...)
Apple (something about the beatles - i.e. record label)

101 we asked at the front desk, and I think they told us 34, plus the ground floor, plus two basement levels. So 37 in total. A slightly ambiguous Q!
204 we assumed was room 3 that we couldn't find on the map. We were actually very lucky with the National Gallery trail. We didn't see the Robinson Crusoe mosaic, but decided that as he was marooned on an island we would go to the maroon rooms . Got to the right place via the wrong method.

There were 2 guys, the virgin and the child - which was 4, leading the the painting in room 4 with the 2 like guys.
Though I could be wrong

Us too - 1-32 with offices, then one on the top with plants. Being English I assumed we shouldn't count the ground floor. So that makes 33.

I guess we were all looking at different paintings. There were unmistakably 12 in the one we looked at. However all the 'similar men' we found were looking straight out of the painting, so we may well have started at the wrong virgin. Hang on, no, we can't have been, because room 12 had the answer about the money that was lost.
There were indeed 7 buses in the model of the gallery.
We were one of the teams who bought a person = our person was 6'2", and we were hoping he might be the largest one...

The fruits for the race depended on which race you did.
Ours were:
Peach (out of season the "£$%^&*(*&^) - I can't remember the question
Pear - When everything goes Kack-handed (pear shaped)
tomato - pomme d'amour
