True, but somebody else came up with the idea of it dancing until it exploded. I tried, but couldn't find the comment on Phaedra's LiveJournal.

Hrm, I think that might have been Scrappy. So yes, she deserves some of the blame too. Smile

Hmmm

Hmmm...well, I checked at Metro Park, they had nooo idea what I was talking about. BUT it's not March yet...the email I got just said there were 'no definite dates' yet, so I'm keeping meh fingers crossed.

<more offtopic> I'm getting a puppy this weekend. =3 and happy bday to me...7 days late. ^^

Mi cat just banged her face on the desk...poor kitty, I must console her...and my interweb access in Non-Existant from my computer. I'm borrowing my dad's, but under the pretext of 'research for meh homework'. So, no posting for me. ='(

Forgive me, I'm a bit hyper right now. </ot>

edoc is going to be at a Vegas tradeshow next week. Here's the link.

Or is that too OOG?

Hi, Matt!

And welcome to Unfiction! Thanks for letting us know, and no, this is an OOG board, so I don't think there's any such thing as "too OOG." Smile

Please tell me there'll be Canadian locations selling the clothes. Cool design, and an ARG in the weave.... I must get my hands on some of these, once it begins in earnest....

I don't know, OmegaX -- I've been following most of the press on edoc pretty closely, and I don't recall hearing that they'll be selling stuff at Canadian stores (although, obviously, I have no clue what their plans are -- the stores listed on the website may be just what they're starting with, and I'm sure that if Canadian stores start clamoring to sell the line, they'd be able to).

However, I do recall hearing that the clothes would also be available to order from the website, so even if it's not in your area, I think you'll be able to get them that way.

And if you want stores in your area to sell the edoc stuff, I'd write/call them and tell them so. Smile

I was watching the video again, and wondering if there's not some narrative sleight of hand going on.

Having the video narrated in the first person, right after the pre-code sequence in which someone (also speaking in the first person) tells us that they've been lying to us, and that they killed Al, suggests that it's continuous -- the narrator of the "Facade" video is the same narrator that speaks before we enter the code.

Ergo, the girl narrating the video is also Al's killer, the pre-code-entry speaker.

I'm wondering, however, if that's part of the lying. The tone of the pre-code narrator is smug and sort of goading, with an element of dark humor ("You just can't trust anyone these days.") That narrator also behaves as if s/he's confiding in us. The girl in the video is sort of resigned-sounding, and she discreetly implies, but doesn't talk about a lot of stuff directly (Jeff and Abby, for example).

From their trade show info, it seem that edoc is going to export their stuff.

also, could someone download the "call me a patriot" vid and put it on file front or something, its slow to load on the edoc page.

uh oh

uh oh. It looks like we're gonna have to wait a bit longer. The site just changed to say 'Spring 2006' instead of 'March 2006'. Sad So now it could be March, April, May before this thing starts. Well, at least thery're taking they're time to make it really good.

Where did the site change? Because on the page where it lists stores that will be carrying the line, it still says "available in stores March 2006."

I guess if the site doesn't go live March 1, I'll start worrying, but until then, I don't see any reason to worry that it will be delayed. Smile

I found the 'Spring 2006' text immediately on the 'About' page.

New Players

Hey everyone! This is Jeremy and Ashley (we're playing together and so we just have the one account). This game looks pretty cool! It's out first ARG together, but Jeremy played PPC for a while in the beginning ( J - I totally got screwed out of my "package" so I refused to buy cards out of protest :D )

Anyway, one thing J noticed relates to the rumors of a Further Seems Forever link - there is actually a myspace account called "Poor Richard F_S_F". (We dont think this has been mentioned elsewhere...sorry if it has) Weird though, eh? Its seperate from the actual Poor Richard page and has no pictures or anything. We doubt the connection, since the band broke up, but who knows.

Another thing we noticed (and didnt see anywhere here) was that each piece of merch on the edoc website has a different logo on that items page (right above the "prev" and "next" buttons). There is only 9 (if we counted correctly) logos - maybe each logo corresponds with a clue for this particular season's line of clothes. It makes sense to do this because they can't expect people to but ALL of their gear (especially at those prices!)

So, maybe all you need to do is buy 9 of the "right" articles to ensure you get 1 for each clue for the spring season. Then, more clues come when their "summer line" hits the stores.

What do y'all think?
