New York PCAG Tournament
Category: me, 05:50 PM

I've just gotten these pictures from Mind Candy - they're from the PCAG tournament in New York. How very exciting! Congratulations to Gabriel, the winner! (They tell me he's the one in the first photo being presented a trophy from Andrea at Mind Candy.)

It makes me a little sad to know I'm so out of the loop on what's happening with all of you and in the city, but I do think what I'm doing here is important. Just this morning I was feeding berries to an owl with a broken wing, and he looked at me with his giant, wise eyes, and I realised again how very rewarding this experience has been, even if I do miss home a bit from time to time.

Am I the only one who read the bit about the owl and thought about this earlier quote:

Quote:
We even arranged a special little key-message code; a few
seemingly-innocent words I can use to let him know I'm in trouble.

I am?

Well, all right then. Carry on.

ps. Er, hi everybody. I'm new.

Hi Joe,

Welcome aboard,

Puzzles and Clues are usually fairly obvious that they are puzzles and clues (even when the answers aren't at all obvious) so I'd be surprised if it were the code word. Frankly any word could be the code word and we'll only really know it is when Brende turns up in full Rambo gear poking people with knives at which point we can all go 'oooohhhhhh, that was so obvious'.

Scarlett seems a bit of a dipsy groovy sort of a person anyway-this is sort of phrase she would regularly use.

I may be getting confused here with the Scarlett Kite and the way she posts on it, but in the past on her updates she has spoken to us earthlings and talked about keeping up the pretence to her friends at home, so why all of a sudden is she talking to us like she *is* at an animal sanctuary?

Just seems like a strange shift?

On her website, all the posts on her home page are available to everybody. We also get access to her hidden posts at http://www.thescarlettkite.com/scarlettsstory/, which nobody in Perplex City knows about. So there are two levels of communication from her blog.

Thanks maevey.

I think I'm getting a little confused as her main page leads to info about her travels if you click on the blog archives, as well as the /scarlettsstry page can't anyone get to the blog archives?

*stops flogging a dead horse!*
