Hey all, just a quick off topic/on topic question.

What time did it wrap up? My girlfriend and I came down to see what was going on, saw a few people looking like they were about to sing in Leicester square and saw the awesome set up at base camp, but thought there wasn't much for spectators there, so toddled off and came back at closing time to see what was going on (i.e. about 17:45) and it was like something from the X-files - everyone was gone and the room upstairs had a wedding going on which I nearly strolled into!!!

They moved quite sharpish as they had to get people down to the Eye but as far as I can remember.

16.45ish-Ending Presentation started

17.15ish-Presentation Finished-people went off to the eye, people left to go to the pub, peoppe just left, Mind Candy and helpers cleaned up and went for a meal where they drank the whole of London

18.00ish-On the Eye

19.30ish-Pub

22.00ish-Mind Candy and helpers turned up at the pub.

22.15ish-Juxta started shouting

23.20-Got Kicked out

23.21-Everyone lost each other

00.00-Tim (look below) and I scored some cheap acid in a club (actually we didn't.....although we did....of course we didn't score some cheap acid....hods head....shakes head)

00.30-Guy Started dancing like a Loon

00.45- I Left club

07.00-Guy stopped dancing like a Loon

I would like to point out that I didn't drink the whole of London, merely most of it. The fact I was in bed at 3pm yesterday groaning will attest to this fact.

Actually, The Crypt Project isn't a Christian organisation, it's theatre, dahlings: "an underground site-specific performance unearthing London's past, its foul exquisite secrets and the flaws beneath the floors." If anyone is interested, the production company website is

Buzman and I saw that banner on the way out of the building and I think there's even a photo of it in Buzman's flickr set. However, we were always sure it was OOG but the spire in the image on the banner looked a little like 'the point'.

Is that a euphamism?

I would like to back idlemichael's claim of not drinking all of London. Duckiemonster and I drunk what was left of it. Oh, and we won't mention how the alcamahol affected Juxta and lhall...

*jojojojo giggles

Also, would like to say publically that Michael is the nicest bloke ever, and he truly rocks. Even when he's drunk. Smile

What a fabulous day! It was really great fun volunteering, seeing people from the Clapham event, and meeting new faces to put to old names! It was amazing just how many crazy things MC came up with for people to do- and it was great watching you guys do them! I was in Leicester Square with Sequoya and two other lovely volunteers and we got to witness four choirs perform: a round of 'Row, row, row your boat', a rousing and spectacular 'Hokey cokey', 'Happy Birthday' sung to two random people, and a slightly repetitive rendition of 'Always look on the bright side of life' (I'm sure they would have used jazz hands in The Life of Brian, if they could...). The wacky races were quite impressive too and everyone seemed very intense- it was rather daunting to suddenly spot in the distance a horde of PXC players surging towards me and to then have a dozen mobile phones shoved in my face! One guy from the LIE team looked like he was going to pass out during the race, and ChalcoDoror managed an impressive 'flesh wound'! It was really great to see how seriously people were taking the game, but still having a lot of fun. For the record, for those who didn't participate in the two 'wacky races', here were the riddles:
1. Go find and eat three fruit for us:
The first has skin with gentle fuzz;
The second, pomme d'amour is branded;
The third the shape of things cack-handed.
2. You must find fruit to beat your fellows:
The first made Eric Wimp so yellow;
The second says the future's bright;
The third picked up the Beatles' might.
I'm glad the event was able to bring together so many 'strangers' and transform them into 'friends' in the course of a single day. PXC players are super nice! And dedicated! Apparently there was even a guy who'd come all the way from Hong Kong! Thanks to everyone who participated on Saturday and especially to Mind Candy- I know I'll remember Saturday for the rest of my life, and that's quite something. What an amazing world Perplex City is.
