For the record, my knee looks a heck of a lot worse than my arm does, when I finally got home and looked at it, I had blood caked down my leg...

Done Jo - if you, or indeed anyone would like a Wiki login, just drop Lhall or Scott a PM on these boards, and they'll happily Wiki you up. The logins are required because there was a vast amount of defacement and spam going on, so hence they were implemented. But the more the merrier of the right sort of information!

I seem to be in an alarming number of photos, considering I loathe having my picture taken - normally even my bestest of best friends have to launch surprise attacks on me to get a picture!

I'm the same (and they usually fail Razz)

I've seen myself in 2 other photos (the ones at basecamp with everyone in) but i'm VERY small in them and its hard to see (one it just a tiny section of my head and the only reason I can see it is because I recognise the others in my group.

Everyone should upload themselves-I can barely remember my own face.

Well, that was exhausting but so much fun. I'm still jetlagged, but very glad I went. I'm especially pleased to be able to put faces to the names! So many good memories...sledge, rich, michael, brat, Guy, chippy and Herbert, Jazz Hands, Serpentine Road, the team from Barcelona, all of MC...the list goes on and on!

And of course, special thanks to Juxta, duckie and jojojojo, three of the nicest and most generous people I've ever met. Squee!

Not much else to add that hasn't been said already, so...everyone be sure to check out the wiki page and and details and links to photos!

Just wanted to add my thoughts on the day, I had such a great time. I was one of the Rangers in Leicester Square, with red hair and a Scots accent if that helps you place me. Thank you to all the players who came to sing for us, especially the Hokey Cokey lot, you rocked! But you were all great, really. Especially Herbert, of course.

My photoset is up here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sequoya/sets/72057594071651095/

and I am in the process of uploading videos of all the Choirs.. you can find the Hokey Cokey here just now but it is rather large at 30Mb. Am going to try and find a good way to make them smaller then will upload the rest, but feel free to download that one for now if you like Wink

Wow. Just...wow. It's now Wednesday, and I'm just about recovered from Saturdays festivities. Like Lhall and Sequoya above, I was one of the "Rangers" (No, not Power, nor Rescue) - I was in Trafalgar Square all afternoon, you'll have seen me - I was the one who wasn't young, cute or of the female persuasion. Wink

I think it's fair to say that everyone I've spoken to during and since, and certainly myself, had a fantastic day. It was a remarkably smooth event, with almost all of the glitches being worked around without having any real impact upon proceedings. As far as standout moments and people...hrm...well, here goes, in no particular order, with all due apologies for any which I've forgotten...

*The players in general - without you lot, and your willingness to go out and have *fun*, the day wouldn't have worked.
*Everyone at Mind Candy - for their dedication, hard work and support.
*All of the volunteers - likewise...and no, we weren't paid (except with our snazzy "CREW" t-shirts), nor were we small, furry and subterranean. Wink
*The Barcelona team...their t-shirts emblazoned with "Sorry, we're from Barcelona". I don't think that anyone failed to smile when they saw those, and you were all a very pleasant bunch to meet.
*Serpentine Road....on your rollerblades. Just too cool.
*Team Jazz Hands...Well...I have to confess, your early afternoon exploits in Trafalgar Square were certainly the most impressive use of General Public manipulation that we saw all day. The chain around the base of Nelson's Column was amazing to behold.
*The Cube ReCoventry Team...for spreading the Gibrat Love. Also for beating Team Jazz Hands Very Happy
*Exit, Pursued by Bear...just for the name.
*The Conga...despite the heart failure it gave me, starting a few metre in front of a several hundred strong mob of angry protesters...

*Sledgecallier...for putting up with a night of extreme cocktails on Friday, and then Rocky Horror singalongs on Saturday morning in the car at 7am...and then producing a video which captured me bellowing loudly at people, just for once Rolling Eyes
*Herbert, for turning up, and bringing Chippy!
*IdleMichael...for being exceedingly damn rawk and roll.
*Paul....for responding to every call of "Moooley mooooley moooley!" with a glower, and then a grin. (We will get fed up with saying that one day. But probably not anytime soon.)
*Lhall - for taking me up on a drunken offer of a spare bed, and flying over from *Texas*, before spending a mere 29 hours on British soil and then departing with the worst hangover in the world. I can only offer my admiration that even after all of this, she was *still* 56 distinctly different kinds of sweet and lovely Smile Anytime you want to visit again, I think you'll have no trouble finding somewhere to stay.
*JoJoJoJo and DuckieMonster - for being 2/3rds of the nightmare creation that was the JoJoxtaMonster, and helping to keep me sane/insane all day and night.

So...here's to the next one - watch this space...

J
