ReGenesis Series 2 Ok, I saw a commercial last night on Space about a new series of ReGenesis coming to Pay-Per-View some time soon (Sunday March 19th on The Movie Network and Movie Central - 8pm Eastern). A quick search of the fora produced nothing, so I'm posting in the hope that someone will read this, check up on it somewhat and find us all an ARG-y sequel. I've not found anything with a quick google, but hopefully there will be some more ARG-ishness related to the new series.

Yeah, the company who made ReGenesis has had a thingy on their website saying that there will be another bout of ARGitis surrounding the second season of ReGenesis!

Yeah, I saw an Ad in the TMN guide and saw that it's premiering on the 19th. Which also coincidentally happens to be my birthday.
For those that don't know,
www.sciencesucks.com/talk is the only website still open from 1st season. It's just an inactive forums now though.

i wasn't around for regenesis and have no idea what it is, but i just went to their website and it looks pretty cool. there's a sign up page...i don't know if you guys have been there yet, but if not, better get signed up!!
so yeah, how does this work? is it pay per view? i really want to play, but i work constantly and even if i didn't, there's 8ight people in my house who only watch tv, so i even if i wanted to watch, i probably couldn't. is watching the show absolutely necessary? should i try and play even if i can't watch it?

This is my question too.

And a good question it is.
The show is a tool for the game, but is in no way neccesary. It sometimes provides clues and hints about what to do next in the ARG- but these clues are usually posted within minutes on the in-game forums. That being said, by not watching the show, you miss out on a lot of the character development, and some of the minor plot developments.
Keeping all this in mind, you'll still have fun with or without the show. I know there were players last time who did just as much if not more then the people who were watching the show.

I played the ARG with out the show since it didn't air in the states, I still had a blast and didn't have any trouble keeping up.

Uggh.
My Movie Network subscription just ended... literally only 10 days ago.
In a way I'm glad, 20$ a month is a lot. However, now I'm missing a bunch of good shows... such as ReGenesis.

Regenesis 2 Played last season, and loved it. My husband and I were hooked, and imagine we will be again this season.
If you go to the Norbac website (www.norbac.ca) you can take a tour of Norbac. Also leads into the sign up. (watch the bottom of the screen, where messages are posted..something interesting shows up.)
All the previous websites are not working currently, I imagine they will start up again shortly before the show airs on March 19th.
You do have to subscribe the movie network to be able to watch the show.
A helpful hint, you can often download the episodes shortly after it airs from your favorite download program.

Wow, this sounds really cool. I just saw a commercial for this earlier, and now I come on here and see this.
Is there some way to recap on what happened with last season's ARG?
