 		Now, I know it's against the rules for characters to post more than once in their own thread...but what about private messages? Is there something against that kind of contact, too?

(And, I see Keymaker is browsing this forum. For his sake, I hope he's not planning on posting.)

These are the types of persistent denial that rules and boundaries exist that end up with people upset. PLEASE, I implore you, stay away from the boards if you want this to continue. jamesi typically doesnt take kindly to having his polite warnings ignored.

To my understanding, as long as he isn't posting on the board, it's fine, though frowned upon.

PMing players is... acceptible, I believe, for the launch of a game.

That may be, but that's not really the point. Smile

The point is that there are only two rules for PMs to follow here. Two very simple rules. And those rules are something to which you agree when you register an account.

So the question becomes: if you can't be trusted not to renege on the very, very limited agreement you made as a condition of membership here, why should you be trusted enough for anyone to play your game?

That said, I don't think a private message actually breaks the rules; private correspondence, I think, unless it falls under the category of spamming a trailhead, is just that: private. However, I don't know for sure.

But if there are any admins reading this, this might be a good time for a definitive answer to the question. Smile

This station doesn't play my kind of music, but uh...*shrugs*. The station name is "YAR Radio". Going to the website turns up a bunch of pirate related stuff at first glance.

Dare I say this is related to the PirateShrubbery GAIM?
