OK jumping back a page, the enhanced receipt at first looked like a time stamp, but it's a herring: see attached. All it says is Cash Sale $13.75.

The only thing I'm not 100% on is whether it's a $ sign, a Euro sign or a Pound sign.

The cash amount is listed twice, which implies that the register printed the total ($13.75) and the amount paid ($13.75), which implies that whoever paid for whatever it is keeps change on them. Don't know if that's significant or not.

There appears to be more detail above that, but I'm still working on it...

[EDIT] for what it's worth, I wrote "cash sale $13.75" below where it appear on the docket... sorry, forgot to mention that right off... Embarassed

Trout, I already covered this on page 1 of this thread. Mad

This is interesting to me mE1 it has to do with the State of Washington and is a formula of some sort. Maybe a clue? Not sure but I think it is worth checking out.

Also, and maybe this is a bit too obvious, near the bottom of Page1 of the .pdf file is the word : matrix

Probability vector, Washington, Matrix..........a little fishy.

You guys are kidding right? This is obviously part of some course material for learning about Markov Chains. The term "Rent-a-Lemon" is just used as part of an example. The fact that the term "matrix" is used is obvious because... well... just scroll down.

While I am not sure that this is a clue, and I think we may just be triggered by the word "matrix" and the fact that that link comes as a first hit on google, I think some of you may find the below interesting, though perhaps somewhat misleading. This is an excerpt of a post by redeamer on MatrixReloaded.
Quote:
I am now up to mathematics and theoretical physics in conjunction with biology, actually i am a molecular biologist.

The Scene where The Architect explains Neo what the MATRIX is and how it functions one thing becomes OBVIOUS.

When Architect tells Neo it is the 6th round of the Matrix. And that at the end of each round only some UPGRADED individuals are taken to regenerate the Zion i see only one explanation. The Matrix is a super-class of programs that are based on some initially predetermined semi-stochastic (semi-random) process namely Markov (Andrei Andreyevitch Markov, famous russian mathematician) process, described by Markov Chains notion.

The short explanation of this process is: We have a finite or infinite alphabet of different states, at a moment of time 0 there is state S0, after that depending on state S0 the state S1 emerges (emits one of the alphabet states) and so on. Two restrictions: 1. memoryless property ( is that state depends on its predecessor only), 2. time homogeneity property.

Notion of Markov chains could be extended releasing one of the restrictions to generate Hidden Markov Models (Artificial intelligence programs, i am currently applying for biology). Where initially u know wheter the observed states or alphabet. And generate the MORE IDEAL model (like in Matrix) using iterative rounds of input.

So every time Matrix runs 6th time we have a Zion inhabiotants more intelligent more powerful more .... more.. more... and of course the MACHINES, that are DIGGING)

So now Neo stopped the idealness path and no further EVOLUTION takes place, and now he has the power outside the Matrix:--)))

What next...?? Anyway thats the most INTELLECTUAL STUFF I HAVE EVER SEEN....

So, while I think the concept might have played some role in the Ms (like provide the theoretical basis for the matrix), I doubt that it would have anything to do with sheismissing.

I see your point but it is still interesting.

Are they updating the files now or something? I can't get any browser to display the images, even if I do /20031009/heismissing.jpg Question

I have the same problem, the images don't show on the page. If I try to get them directly it says I'm not allowed to access the page. I downloaded the images from CD. Here they are:

Aparently the congrats pic is a clue to chicago... the state where sheismissing left her last fingerprint in our world...

thus the pic can mean 2 things.... either it's congratulating her or someone else for extracting her (perhaps not from the matrix, but from the"grid" at least) or it's sarcastic, since she left a clue there...

I just tried to read what is striked through on the "he is missing" paper, and to me it seems like if there is something like "waer zart" or something in this direction is written. First i thought of "W.A. Mozart", but this is too short to fit, but it would make sense.

It sounds to me like he was following "Avery" as he WAS LEAVING. "flight no. re-confirmed", "luggage onboard" - it sounds like he was checking "Ok, now the flight is re-confirmed (= not delayed etc.), now his luggage is onboard" - he was involved in that person's disappearance.

Yanka, with "as he was leaving", do you mean leaving to go TO Zurich? I was under the impression that Avery disappeared after having spent considerable time in Zurich? According to the MetaCortex news page, on january 4th 2002, it was announced that Avery would be spending time overseas, and on january 5, 2003, Avery announces his resignation.

I've been looking at it all day!
But I see something different:

1. The word(s) is 10-13 characters long
2. 1st letter: u/v
3. 3rd letter: s(?)
4. 3rd (or 4th) to last letter: g/y/z
5. last letter: t
6. there are no b, d, f, g, h, j, l, p, q, t in the middle (they'd be sticking out either above or below).

So I went here and tried some variations. But so far all the returns violate condition (6) Sad

When I thought it said "luggage aboard", it seemed like Marcus (perhaps on behalf of Metacortex) was making sure that Avery is well on his way to Zurich (on that date = Jan. 02, 2002, checking every step of Avery's departure). As though he planned "Avery will get to Zurich, and then I'll get rid of him there." I don't think anybody mentioned that they communicated with Avery after he left Redland? A year later his lawyer informs everyone that Avery is resigning, but he might have been long gone before then.

But now I think it reads "luggage aband." So Avery disappeared right at the airport? Then what "extension" is granted on 01/07 - if Avery has never made to Zurich?

Very confused atm...

Hmm, I don't think it's very likely Avery goes to Zurich, and a year later his lawyer announces he's resigning, and the time inbetween noone notices he's actually doing nothing on "overseeing the as yet unnamed project". Except if it's a very elaborate cover-up by Metacortex/MLO.

If MLO was in on the disappearing of Avery though, it wouldn't seem likely he would put remarks like "flight reconfirmed" on paper... or maybe he would... damn, I'm confused too...

What about the reference to his neighbours? It would be most likely they would be his Swiss neighbours, because if he woudl have disappeared in the USA, people would probably know that he never arrived in Zurich...

For the moment, my view on things is, Ormond is doing his own private research on the disappearance, and he's not an active part of it... but still confused and uncertain.
