I just started up on KoL yesterday....I am Dr_Curlytek the Parsley Enchanter! I would love to join up with the Unfiction clan, if possible (I made it to level 3 with some top-notch adventuring and some lucky Haiku mission antics).

Hi all,

What's the clan policy on multis? I've decided to keep my main (uneasyjd) for hardcore only, so I created a new account (Leona Helmsley) to have a bit more fun with. Would she be welcome in the warm, fuzzy embrace that is the Bearded Clan?

We've had many multis in the clan, usually from people who wanted to try a different character class.

Have you applied? There's nothing pending. It shouldn't be an issue, IMO.

There are multis in the clan, including my uncreatively named multi. Some people have their multis in another clan. Whatever. I would only worry about KOL multiabuse rules, although I have to say I don't think even they feel too strongly about it as they have no interest in auditing accounts to see who is feeding his multi instead of making it earn its own food. With everything that's going and available that is not subject to multiabuse, this just doesn't seem like a large concern.

my multi is very cleverly named (Carnex2 ) and thats why i got him to level 10 in roughly 5 days. it would have been shorter but my main ascended (sp?).

Personally, it seems if you don't piss someone off enough to make them look at you, your clan, etc... if you don't name your multi something obvious... then being in the same clan doesn't seem to be an issue. I'm the jerk who has reported other clans for being nothing but 15 of one person's multi's... but i don't do it if it is just one multi, or OUR clan, or anything like that, and i think most people act the same way.

avoid the multi czar, try to avoid using the clan stash as a way to get items from your main to your multi {they are watching this stuff, they just don't always catch it, with the amount of players they have}.

I had to get super special permission for brian to give me his mr A, his TP suzie, and a chunk of meat when he was quitting KoL because darn it all of that came from paying real money... Because stuff like that sets off the radar hard core.

[EDIT]I was told it seemed as if i was saying basically "don't tick off your clan mates" and that wasn't what I meant at all... i just recently noticed a growing trend in "if you annoy me, i will be out to get you AND your clan" looking for excuses to shout "multi" in a witch hunt type of thing... sorry for the confussion[/EDIT]

I have a couple of multis, but, after speaking with Multi Czar I deduced that he doesn't really care about multis as long as they're not just there for making food/meat or buffing for one main account (for free). As long as there's a reasonable trade of services between the accounts they don't mind.

For example, I have my main account (Atrophied) and one multi (Atrophied1) in our clan. My multi will make sauces and buff my main, but my main will send meat to my multi in return. It works just like any trade, but I can get it for a slight discount and whenever I want, not just when people feel like trading with me. That is not classed as multi abuse, and is not bannable.

Hope this helps to clear it up for folks.
