WOAH. Woah, ok! The code entering screen is TOTALLY changed. Even the 'facade' code unlocks a different movie, and so does 'Call me a partiot'. The CMAP code unlocks a movie that takes place 2 years and 9
months 'before Poor Richard dies' and the Facade takes place after 'Poor Richard has died'. The clips also seem to indicate that Jeff is the killer and/or that the band was set up in some way...They have an actual PureVolume site now, too. Looks like things are finally kickin into gear...

I didn't get to see these clips before the edoc site changed today. Did they change as well?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
At any rate, the "truth" clip doesn't seem to have a timeframe attached to it, while the "you can stop any time you want you just never want to" clip takes place 2 years and 8 months before 'Poor Richard dies'.
On a more introductory note, I've been lurking this thread for a while now waiting for this to get off the ground. Now that things seem to really be taking off, I'm particularly keen to hear the music the band puts out on purevolume . If the good people posting here don't mind an extra tagalong, I'd like to say hey, and I hope I can help out a little bit.

Actually, "facade" and "call me a patriot" changed yesterday as well. I just forgot to mention it because I was, umm, distracted. I certainly never saw the two new clips before yesterday's massive site updates, so I doubt there were previous versions.
(I really liked the original "facade/CMaP" clip; it'd be nice if we saw it again some time.)
(And I have already developed a strong dislike for this new Sally person.)

I did notice that they'd changed; I just wasn't sure if 'truth' and 'you can stop any time you want' had changed as well.

I agree completely. I watched it several times, if for no other reason than I liked to to hear Lyn say 'Gung hoy fat choy, buddy!" Just don't ask me why.
I also liked the original intro clip - the sight of Al's charred hand with that haunting music in the background really set the mood for what's to come.

Another movie:
"secrets suck"
From the Urban Audio shirt in the men's line.
Edit: I fail at life.
Edit again: On the Men's Flame shirt, the pigpen in the middle reads "better to burn out". Unfortunately this does not give a movie... yet?
Edit again [work is boring]: The morse on Urban Life continues to vex me.

Sorry to scoop you, EGo, but the morse on Urban Life translates to:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Ask questions later

Is *CLUNK* the sound of the game beating you over the head with Americana?
Heh. No, that was everything falling into place. (Also me thinking I'm clever when you've obviously not only got it already, but had it for a while now.)

Is there a list [gathered, as opposed to scattered over this long thread] of phrases that have been found?
I believe we have five so far (not counting the little ones that give a snarky response but unlock no clip):
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
call me a patriot
facade
truth
you can stop any time you want you just never want to
ask questions later

Wow, lovely music on that one. Could the typewriter sound be morse code?

That typewriter might-be-morse is on at least two more (call me a patriot & ask questions later at the very least), and it's definitely not just a stock sound that they're using -- they're distinct. But I can't come up with a good method of translating the sounds -- my ears don't hear Morse.
Sam's "one addiction" from 'you can stop...' doesn't look like drugs ...

morse i could record it in real time with a microphone, then play it over and over untill i get it down, but then someone has to translate it...

Re:morse If someone could record the sounds, there are many morse code translators on the net. I could try to decipher the sounds (as dots and dashes) and see what the translator comes up with. However, as I am as inexperienced with morse code as everyone else, it may be a good idea to have several people each decipher and translate the recordings to be sure there are no mistakes.
And, of course, we might be on a wild goose chase and simply come up with nothing.
