Good find, Austin!
I was pretty sure it was some kind of differential computing device, but you nailed it. Except for a slight misrepresentation of "dark" it appears the be the one you posted. The Astronomical dial of the Prague Orloj

From what I can gather, the clock is simply reflecting a time at about 10:40am Prague (Central European Time) in the first few days of Gemini rising (May 23 or thereabouts) (EDIT-ADD: The moon is centered in Aquarius and the sun indicates there is a little more that 8 hours till sundown.). We can't know the exact date, as that's part of the Calendar dial which wasn't included. The outer ring indicates 15 hours, Bohemian time (Hours after sundown).

I think the real puzzle, here isn't what the readings say on the clock, but which bits of info haven't been removed.

Bohemian (Italian) Time Ring:
7, 8, 10, 16, 24

Roman (Sidereal) Time Ring:
Midnight, 1am, 5am, 4pm

Zodiac Ring:
Gemini, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Pisces
Or 3, 8, 9, 12 in the order seen on most zodiac calendars.
Gemini= 5/22-6/21
Scorpio=10/24-11/22
Sagittarius=11/23-12/22
Pisces=2/20-3/20

I'm not getting anything out of any of that, though.

But, based on the chat audioslave had, it looks like we're in for another round of "red-lettering".

If this was a launch, I'm not overly impressed.

and no, i don't think this is a launch. the countdown is for the 15th, so i assume that's when it'll happen.

sairansu - an anagram for many things, including "A Russian".

On a lighter note... did some googling for the "quotes" that are located on the picture:

Quote:
1) Vidar Norse (Scandinavian) god of silence and vengeance. He is the second strongest in his pantheon.

2) "The Truth Sets Me Free by Uttering the Word" - Lord how can I pray when pain is so unbearable that concentration seems impossible? The gravity of pain I experienced became the reason for pursuing sharpness, accuracy and persistence in attaining truth to win. This is simply because the Lord did not give us any option. The Lord dealt with us as spiritual grownups, not kids. And if we were kids, then we should grow up. At least in this area where the battle must be won. The war cry that developed in our parlance today is that as warriors, we shouldn't ask the Father to drive the wolf away for us. A grown up son must drive the wolf for the Father's sheep.

I can't really make out the first word of the third quote, but the rest of it is "oin is dred" (the best I can make out).

Where are we getting the 15th? From the counter script that disappeared and as far as I know showed the 13th as zero hour?
The original AIM said we would know on the 13th and the site updates, today would seem to indicate that this was the case. Did I miss another page that was in existence for only a few hours?

EDIT: Nevermind. I found it.
Regarding the new page and it's title "shinkan"... This is probably just a weird random hit in Google, but "shinkan" and "wolf" bring back a page with a quote: "Silence is the prologue to fear." .
Note also, the "Kilroy was here" scrawl in the upper left corner of the main window. Anybody familliar with the world of megaman who could offer their opinion on this?

If you click on the image on the homepage, you get the page with the Base64 and the links, below that is a counter. I suggest clearing your cache if you can't see it, Rogi

Following the Shinkan thing....google returned a book called "The Kanji Dictionary" written by Wolfgang Hadamitzky. Shinkan is listed as meaning "Fuse"

Found this: http://www.sunnyway.com/runes/mythology.html

Not sure if it helps at all, but it concerns the Norse gods. "Vidar will get revenge for Odin". Fenrir is apparently a wolf of some kind. And it all leads to Ragnarok, which is apparently the twilight of the Norse gods.

I'm trying to see how the wolf, Fenrir, may relate to the father (which I'm assuming is Odin)...

EDIT: Apparently Fenrir (or Fenris) was the offspring of Loki and Angerboda

Using the Korean flag as a starting point, the picture on the Shinkan page resembles the trigram for Water (Moon), which is one of 8 trigrams in the I Ching, which is an ancient Chinese oracle.. http://www.kheper.net/topics/I_Ching/trigrams.htm

Quote:
A solid line in between two broken lines symbolize water. The two broken lines represent the depression of earth (river banks). The solid line in the middle represents motion. This creates the image of water flowing in a river. In addition, this kua also represents the moon.
