Oh, totally. I also heard Keymaker has mastered the art of the roundhouse kick.

Well, here's a transcript (to the best of my ability) of the Key.au file. A few words I haven't been able to figure out, so they're in [xxx??] that format. This is probably no help, but I can understand things much better if I can see them. Ack, back to Flatland book.

**Edit 1** Also, does anyone think that there's any connection with Ayria? In the long chat from the YAR Radio station, Keymaker was talking about Scyne's 'girlfriend' or something, whose name was Jennifer. Well this Ayria person's name is Jennifer, and Scyne playes her music on his Myspace and she's on his friend list. Hmmm...probably nothing

Aiya! Some of the pages have changed...they're no longer black, but white...and there are new things hidden in the sourecode. For instance hyp3rn3xus.com has new stuff in the source code:

//8=This is the ChronoKey.... I hold it dear
//9= I hold it dear. But I do share....
//3=You see,
//4=it is not a constant.
//2=control.
//6=Everything that has, can, and or will exsist cannot be
//5=It just is.
//1=Time is hard to
//7=change. But I can fix that.

So... (Time is hard to control. You see, it is not a constant. It just is. Everything that has, can, and or will exsist cannot be change. But I can fix that. This is the ChronoKey....I hold it dear I hold it dear. But I do share....)

**Edit1** o.....kay....so it's back to being black and normal...???? Maybe I wasn't supposed to see that??? I took a screen cap of it just so I can prove I'm not crazy in case it never appears again! Laughing If it was a 'woopsie' that I saw that, then someone should take this down??

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
**Edit2** okay, even though the hyp3rn3xus.com site looks how it used to, the sourcecode is still different...so I'm not crazy...yay!

Man... I want a key Sad

Although, perhaps If I could work out what that darn ACSII key meant, I could have the ... ACSIIKey (spelling pending).

ASCII... uhm.. darn, I can't spell it. Although I just call it 'As Key'... which might be the answer now I think of it.

I'm somewhat lost as to what we need to do... Initially we wanted to know what Trent had to say and why he took off. We thought that the papers Jason found would be a turning point, and that Keymaker was after them (using us to get to them).

Now there is no trent, no Jason and no papers. The only thing we seem to have is Keymaker trying to lure us into who knows where, and we're not biting. Keymaker does have some interesting capabilities, though (calling people, receiving/answering e-mail, chatting and setting up voice-mail), but he has no physical presence and needs us to do his deeds.

Should we now try to find out more about Keymaker's nature and why he is interested in this at all? If I play this ARG the way we're supposed to (which is to pretend it's reality), there is no way I would trust Keymaker and I would perceive him as a 'bad guy'. Thoughts?

Agreed, Saving Trent/Jason (if they need saving) should be our goal. Do we do it by playing along with Keymaker?

well...going from what i remember about Flatland (at i read it a looooong time ago) if the keymaker is telling us he's a sphere and we're squares, he's a being from the next plane up who has chosen us to bestow his knowledge upon. That would make him sort of a good guy, but i really don't get that impression from him.

Speaking of which...if he is some formless thing, what's the motivation for kidnapping a couple of treasure hunters who have pirate papers? If he's some supernatural entity with amazing powers, why waste his time holding two FL scuba divers? is there something more? does he want to rip down the veil? does he want to destroy the world? what is the purpose for his being here?

I wish we could talk to keymaker more often, but he's quite difficult to talk to...not enough ritalin maybe.

Too bad we couldn't figure out who this "Keith" guy is (I think that was his name?), the one who was going to make copies of the original papers to send out. Hmmm...but I guess Keymaker will send us copies of the papers if we e-mail him the "key" from the latest site...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Oh! And I'm sure someone has already mentioned this, or saw it any way, but on the Mount Vernon website (the one with the half-hour long video), if you look at the sourcecode there's a "TCR _ _ : _ _ : _ 3: 0 6". Has anyone watched the whole video? Does something happen when the last three digits of the timer match _ 3: 06"?

Hmmm...when the timer on the video, not the google timer, gets to TCR 14:21:23:06 the gentleman on the video being interviewed says "they can keep the status quo"; which is also what's quoted in the sourcecode of the page. This fits with the TCR _ _: _ _: _ 3:06 clue...but I don't know if it means anything. ((it's just slightly after 20:00 on the google timer))

**Edit 3**

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you take 14212 and add if after http://www.hyp3rn3xus.com/mount_vernon/ you get this
