Has anyone else tried to connect this to either Forerunner or Halo 2 for Vista? Because... Well, it would make sense

Please don't flog me with a wet noodle or anything as I've only been involved in ARG's for a short while. I've been looking at the unforum to find another good ARG since "Find Araya" let me down. I started reading this thread but was a bit put off by the "is it, isn't it" debate. I understand ILB was obviously an amazing experience and whether or not this is the true ILB2 it still seems extremely well thought out and executed.

Here's my question, what does it have to do with Elder Scrolls and Oblivion? I love Morrowind and am waiting for my copy of Oblivion. I am more intrigued by the thought this ARG is somehow related to Elder Scrolls, but I'm not sure I want to immerse myself in it yet. When I clicked on the travellers link at the ILB2 site it took me to elderscrolls.com.

Anyone?

I haven't been following this as closely as 'Lost' has - he's probably the one to ask - but I'll try.
From what I understand there are three main characters: Onas (bad guy from Oblivion universe) Morrow (good guy from Halo universe?) and Minerva (or pre-Melissa from of Melissa?) and now a fourth Main Character it looks like - The Traveler. (not sure about him - perhaps Oblivion too?) As far as an explanation as to how these worlds are overlapping this hasn't been told yet (or made up on the fly yet...*sorry editorial opinion*) But anyway, it looks like people are finally being allowed to work together (I say "allowed" because the game in the beginning had people join up into two different camps and fight each other for prizes) But now they are dropping their 'loyalties' and working together.
Anyway, it sounds like people are having fun over there! might be a good time to join in. I hope that helps. Wink

ILB2

First I want to thank everyone who was playing as we come to the end although some hated us for some odd reason, we had a lot of fun. I appreciate the game and think the players are some of the best people I have ever met.

Much Thanks

I suppose I will add a conclusion.

Well, it's over.

http://www.ilovebees2.com

No team, alas - neither the Onas guys, the Minerva ones, or us Morrow soldiers - were able to solve correctly *all* of the final 20 questions that were issued to us... Thus the "everybody dies" ending. My only regret now is that we didn't manage to led the story to a real ending. But we were treated with a rather magnificent end-of-the-countdown show, leading us to the new site. ^_^

To you people here, want an insider opinion ? That was worth it. Oh, I've been mighty pissed at times. Frustrated. I reread some of my posts from debut of March, here, and I grin. We soooo had no clue of what was going on at first, with the various references... Pulling our hair over clues, then even more when we found out how obvious things were (they were, trust me on that)... Or getting the right answer, but missing a crucial thing to get it right (like me and the creator answer Razz - I can't believe I didn't put it together with the whole "PB" = pm message method of communication, hehe, talk about getting pissed over nothing and missing a chance in the chat)...

But we stayed to the end. That tells something. A good set of really addicted players, in to see the end of the story. I'll miss our little community, yeah. And the latter half of march, oh my... Crazy plot twists (would you imagine what it is racing to stop an AI from killing each and every member on the forums?), NPC popping up in the chat and getting our heartbeat high with a challenge (ah, the race for saving Minerva... ) or some three chars drama, slaving for updates, getting least expected ones, when least expected... Chatting with Webby and Jac0b... JPEG private sideshows... Not mentioning ending credits complete with dancing bees and Aqua songs. Laughing

They were creative. They were helpful. They sure got humour. And in the end, admist the confusion, the rush, the waiting, the sleepless frustration... It was damn good fun. And I suppose it's all that matters.

Goodbye Lt, goodbye Minerva, goodbye Jac0b, and yeah, even goodbye you, Onas Razz. We believed in you, and we sure will miss you.
