I sent an e-mail to annieSPLATlittle-boxes.net before i went to work about nine hours ago, and i haven't had it sent back yet. Sometimes it can take awhile for the mail to come back, but it's usually a sign that it's a valid address if it hasn't come back for nine hours!

It was posted in a guestbook, yes. But what does that tell us? I suppose it means this could be someone just trying to make us all think and scramble around (like we do).

But you can't deny the fact that the e-mail address (annie) seems to be valid. If the address is valid, and none of us have ever heard of an annie, then there's no logical explanation other than for this to be a valid post, part of the grand puzzle.

Therefore, it deserves some looking at. Besides, posting in the guest book holds true to the whole vagueness of whether this is sanctioned by the brothers or WB or anything like that, so it falls in line with everything.

Either way you slice it, the question remains:

Who is Annie?

Do any e-mails sent to little-boxes.net get sent back? I know that for my domains, any e-mail sent to my domain without a valid username will get dumped into a folder. Nothing bounces.

Perhaps I can shed some light on the subject here. God blessed me with a good memory, and someone with a good memory could never forget deanokio's first post on the official MxO forums. It appeared in mid-2003 and was titled "deanokio=primma man the great discovery." You know that "booooom" at the end of his little post? This is where it first appeared. I read the post at least five times and I never could figure it out. Basically, though, it sounded like he was saying that, now that Neo is dead (he had heard rumors of Neo's apparent demise), he shall lead the denizens of the Matrix to "glorious enlightenment" (just so you'll know, he did NOT spell it correctly). Then he went into a series of bizarre convulsions before starting a weird countdown to the "booooom."

I'll never forget the giant "WTF" flag I waved that day, but even moreso, I'll never forget the first reply to that topic:

"Ooooookaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy... Kids, don't do drugs."

Simply put, he's a psychopath making bomb threats, and is in NO WAY associated with the MxO development team.

Okay, that last statement was supposed to be more comforting than it sounded. I feel sorry for Annie, though. She's probably getting all sorts of strange mail.
